Total Wine - South Florida

A grabbed a bottle of FB Wide Awake and 4 pack of Sixpoint Puff at the Pinecrest store yesterday. They also had Mexican Coffee. The Kendall store had a few of the deconstructed bomb 4 packs last time I stepped in (last Saturday or 2 Saturday’s ago).

 

It hit stores this week. I picked one up on Tuesday. This batch tastes very artificial and is not very good.

 

Does FL regularly get Jack's Abby, or was it a special thing? I'll be there this summer and would love to find some.

it was a one time thing but some of the total wines still have some of the JA beers sitting on the shelf. might be able to find a BA Framinghammer or some lagers

 

Yeah, the IPLs would be too old at that point, but I'll keep an eye out for some non-hoppy lagers. Thanks!

 

Had an odd happening in the Pembroke Pines location yesterday. I'm looking for participants in a mix six, but after searching every beer aisle, I can't find a carrier. An employee does a search, and HE can't locate one either, says they know at the checkout, and will figure it out. Put together my six, grabbed a six of Shiner Bocks for the missus, and headed up front. Still no carriers located so they put each of my six bottles in a paper liquor bottle bag, then into the plastic bag. Fortunately I have a box wedged in the corner of the trunk that everything goes into, so now rolling foam bombs.

Stumbled across some bombers of TG Supa Sumo in Fort Myers today. 3 months old but still taste damn good. Is this just a one time thing or are we starting to get TG here? Nobody at TW had a clue when I asked...

 

They never seem to know anything. No matter which one I go to

 

Where in the store? I check periodically at the Fort Myers/Estero ones and never find anything besides Pseudo and Golden Nugget

 

They were in the special or seasonal release section. I bought two bottles, there were only 3-4 left. Not sure if they had anymore in the back or not.

 

It’s weird that it was 3 months old. It just popped up on the website (I remember looking at the website last week and it wasn’t there). I guess maybe it showed up recently? I’m going to check the estero one today and see what’s going on there.

 

Stopped in at coconut point TW and was told Supa Sumo is a seasonal they will keep receiving from I believe March through July.

The other day was my first time in a TW in a couple months. All the Brew Hub Sue & Nugget are gone and they now carry the real Sue from Decorah which is nice! Just grabbed a four pack along with a couple more bombers of Sumo
