As requested by @JCTetreault, respect the following for the Fort Point location:

Please don't park in the alley alongside/in back. We watch tow trucks pull cars out of there, multiple times a day, every day. You need a parking permit, these spots are for building residents!

    (old) News:

"You guys like cans. A lot.

...we're pumped to announce we're changing the packaging format for all of our hop forward beers (and recently extended to some other styles too) from 750ml / 25.4oz bottles into 16oz cans!

Batch sizes and case counts will go up as we get our legs under us.

Cans will be available at both breweries, but please note we won't be able to split the cases evenly on the same day as packaging for logistical reasons (so fewer cases available in Boston vs Canton on day of packaging). Thanks on behalf of the whole trillium team for your support to help us achieve this incredible milestone."

First two can releases in June (end of the month) were Congress Street and Melcher Street. Cans come in four packs but you can buy individual cans, if you like. Yes, the date is on the bottom.

    Trillium Can Spreadsheet:

@jimmyfausto created this awesome spreadsheet. In his own words:

I've been maintaining a spreadsheet for all Trillium can release information, including sell out times, hours/days available, and other notes. I know availability is a frequent topic here, especially for travelers and newbies, so I've made the google doc viewable by the below link. (Let me know if people have trouble accessing it)

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mmBOt3Bia-mo5gef5A7nENRkFSBx7NCVaSXbH9RYJ78/edit?usp=sharing

All sell out information is from Trillium's social media, unless noted. There have been rare occasions where they didn't post sell out times for a few beers, in which case I guessed the hours.

    New Hours at Canton:

"OUR NEW HOURS RESOLUTION It's a new year! Time for a Team Trillium resolution: make Canton more awesome. We've always felt like party poopers shouting "last call" every Friday night, so starting tomorrow (1/6) Canton will now be open until 10PM on Fridays & Saturdays! And EVERY Sunday from 12PM-5PM! Cheers to more beer, more food trucks, and more fun in 2017."

Please note that LAST CALL is 30 minutes before closing! This applies to Canton site only.

Reminder: Fort Point site does NOT offer any on premises drinking.

Draft pours only. The Fort Point location is a short walk nearby for growler fills and bottle sales.

    Hours:

    Wed – Fri 2pm– 10pm

    Sun 11am -- 6pm

How has the Trillium Garden been on weekdays so far? I remember last year it was always packed on weekdays after work, but it was never filled up completely on weekends. I went after picking up my bottles on Saturday and it was pretty full by noon, but it seems like there's a bit more space this year.

We have about 50% more space, tables/seats and team members! Also, we open at 2p Wed-Fri now so that helps spread things out to start, reduced initial wait times. Double the number of draft lines as well. Let me know how your experiences goes and if theres anything we can do to improve! Thanks, JC

I'm heading down to Portsmouth, NH, through Maine, from eastern Canada, in a couple weeks. Does anyone know if there is a place around Portsmouth or in Maine that sells Trillium beer? Thanks, Chad

Just stopped by Canton to pick up some El Do Fo Po... lotta room on that barrel mezzanine! Maybe some space for seating?

Unfortunately, no. Your only option to get Trillium in cans/bottles is through Fort Point or Canton. There are some bars around Boston that serve them on draft, but no dice on packaged beers.

Had a feeling that would be the case being how popular they are, thanks for the reply.

I wish we could carve out some space up there for our visitors, but that would have meant a passenger elevator plus we're otherwise maxed out on % SF allowed for front of the house given the addition of the patio/outdoor space. We moved the 30bbl foeders over to our building up the hill. This allows us to completely separate clean from wild processes...plus get us some additional tanks up on the mezz! Enjoy that eldofopo

44 is hitting the sweet spot between the classic Trillium hop bite and the softer, sweeter profile of 30 and 32. Congress is one of my favorites and I have zero complaints if this is the new iteration. An absolutely gassable treat at 6.4%. Keep more of the Permutation beers at lower ABV's and keep taking my money.

    Perm44 is superb.

Canton is an awesome spot. Park, buy cans, have a pint in your hand on the patio, all within about 5 minutes.

It's pretty dead from what I've heard... Patio might be a little busy but otherwise it's mellow

Not trying to trash Trillium but is there a reason all their beer looks like absolute garbage after 3-4 days? Chocolate Pot & Kettle looks like Pepsi with chunks of peanuts floating around.

It's an otherwise good beer but the appearance is disgusting. Have had the same problem with every can I've ever poured from Trillium.

    "Every can"?

Cmon dude. I agree that some of their beers are nicer to look at than others but, yea, that's a weird thing to say
