Better you than me, I believe I've had all their butterscotch varietals at this point except the maibock.

Does anyone know if TRVE pulled the trigger on a growler machine?

Needless to say, CO breweries cleaned up in the latests Paste blind tasting, this time for best pilsners: https://www.pastemagazine.com/artic...est-pilsners-blind-tasted-and-ranked.html?a=1

Crooked Stave Von Pilsner (#7), Oskar Blues Mama's Little Yella (#12), Left Hand Polestar (#15), TRVE Cold (38), Jagged Mountain Four Pass Pilsner (42), and Weldworks Cereal Killer (46).

    Congrats to all these brewers!

Worth mentioning that two of my favorites in the state, Bierstadt and Howdy, do not seem to have been entered in the competition.

Stupid auto correct. I meant 32oz aluminum sealed cans aka crowlers. FFS samsung....

Yeah, we're filling crowlers. Even have some specifically branded for Cold.

Von Pilsner had become a favorite of mine, but the list reminds me I need to get some Polestar.

I love some things on that list (like TRVE's Cold and Polestar Pils), but IMO they left off several of our best like Dry Dock, Bierstadt, Zwei, Grimm, and Barmen.

Their statements about German pilsners are also strange. They claim that German pilsners might not be bold enough for the American palate...but the only two they list are both from Munich. That's akin to saying American IPA's lack bite and only citing only Terrapin and Sweetwater.

Dry Dock didn't make the initial cut.

The big one they didn't have was Trumer. Shit, that beer is good.

Bought some Odell Lager earlier this week. I don't know that anything about it really stands out to me, but holy balls, does it go down easy! Those pounder cans are disappearing at a rapid pace.

Kind of a nice change of pace from more intensely flavored IPA/sour/stout/etc.

The perfectly crushable summer beer... I’ve gone through several 6ers and there’s no sign of slowing down. I’m with you too- nothing in particular stands out, but I can definitely put them back!

Bill Eye is pretty public on Colorado Let's Talk Craft beer that he hates packaging in general. I doubt it.
