Can’t remember if I’ve asked this before but I’m curious: when you guys visit the brewery do you see John Kimmich regularly? Rarely?

On a normal day? Never, but I'm in and out quickly as I time my visits when it's not busy in order to minimize any waiting and the actual visitor center is only like 10-15% of the actual brewery building. But I have seen him there for virtually every event or moderately big day at the brewery like Stowe Jazz Fest, Winter Fest, and charity events.

Running a business is time consuming, obviously. But if you manage to catch him, he couldn't be nicer. Great people at The Alchemist.

The old Waterbury place I would see Jen and John regularly. Saw John and Jen early on when Stowe opened, but not since. They have a great front of house staff so...they get to live their lives. Nice for them, but I do miss them.

Alchemist just hosted the regional meetup of the American Homebrewers Assoc., and Jon was there serving pours out of the tanks and being a most congenial host. Jen was invited to speak at Community College of Vermont's graduation to talk about business aspiration and motivation. Very much involved in the community these days.

Anyone know if they will let you buy singles? Would love to get a couple cans of Alena, Holy Cow, Crusher, etc. instead of buying a full 4 pack

Thanks! I cntrl-F searched for "singles" and got no return. I guess I needed to be more precise.

Pro-tip: search the singular, it will catch the plural too.

Also, the Black Cap (Stowe) and The Uncommon Market (Montpelier) sell single cans of Heady and Focal to go.

Focal is being distro-ed outside of the brewery; not sure why OP said it doesn't.

Natural Provisions (Williston) and Winooski Bevy both have this beer.

So if they sell singles could one theoretically get a mixed four pack, and would that cost the same as the standard four pack?

Anyone know their schedule for the July 4th week? Normal hours, but closed on July 4th?
