Rarer DOS coming out tomorrow. Guessing most folks are going to wait for a few brave souls to give it a try before buying 'em up...

 

I have a few Mondays to return so this works out perfectly.

 

Do you guys have any suggestions on Tampa breweries? I'll be coming down from Chicago starting 7/18. I've been to CCB, and hoping to bring home some some good bottles.

Looks like some version of DBR in the background as well. People will purchase, but I bet smaller quantities to start out.

 

I'm guessing their stunt yesterday with disposing of those old bottles and boxes in a way that will negatively impact the environment will not help sales.... & before anyone say anything about their "excuse", no I do not buy into it.... they did it in the way that would be most cost effective for themselves.... I honesty have no idea why they would even post that on social media, just so irresponsible.

 

I missed the video before it got taken down, but recycling glass is fairly inefficient, to the point where a lot of recycling companies are stopping to accept glass, since it tends to contaminate better recyclables. Cardboard and cans recycle well though.

Well they threw cardboard cases full of battles into a landfill so the least they could have done from a PR perspective is take the bottle out of the cardboard. Never should have posted in the first place. Such an obvious d’oh.

 

I think they're really trying to see wtf it takes for people to stop buying their stouts.

 

Do you really think people... excuse me, beer nerds... are not going to buy beer from cycle because they did that? They will sell out just as fast.

And if they do care, they will be caring while handing their cash over the counter. It will not make any difference.

 

They were trying to make a statment that they were getting rid of the shit beer. They could have very easily put it in the dumpster and called for a pick up. They did it for the SHOW. thats all.

Also I am sure the ones screaming about recycling are the samy line share dudes that put all the emptys in the trach can not the recycling bin as they scurry up tot he table to buy the next pastry stout.
