    I'm really hoping Boba Fett times his escape the day I make my first trip to the new brewery. As long as he doesn't try to steal my cans or freeze anything in carbonite...

    Anyone have a Human Condition lately? Coconut still holding on? Trying to decide between that or Impermanence in a trade.

    Doubtful, wasn’t much coconut to begin with. I’d be willing to bet Impermanence is better at this point.

    I had one about a week ago. I didn't get a ton of coconut, but it was absolutely delicious.

    Had one last weekend. Definitely a muted coconut taste as opposed to when it was fresh but I liked it better that way.

    I had one last weekend from the most recent release and I personally was getting a lot of coconut taste still. It seemed less sweet compared to when I had it on draft a few months ago.

    I'm potentially driving through the area July 6th, on my way to Portland. I'm assuming crowds will be larger due to the holiday, but do you think i'd be able to get in and out relatively quick if I arrive around open? Would just be grabbing cans and hitting the road.

    No.

    Friday normally has the largest crowds, open is the time with the longest line, and it's a holiday week which besides more tourists is a time when they have been dropping rare brews making the lines even crazier.

    The best time to go is almost never at open.

    If you get there 2 hours before open you should get in and out.

    That's basically perfect right there. Considering swinging by to confirm Dopp = crest.

    Today is a fantastic day to visit Tree House. Case of Julius, case of Doppel, Case of Sap, Case of Haze, Case of Green (while it lasts), not to mention Tornado and Trail Magic. Should be a relatively slow day too with pours eventually.

    I have a question about the tax charged on pours.

    I charged my pints and didn't get a receipt so it may very well break it down there, but I got 2 $8 pints, for $17.12, which means there was a 7% tax. The MA restaurant tax is 6.25% I think, and that doesn't apply to TH anyway. Is it a local Charlton tax of some sort?

    The MA 6.25% tax is a sales tax on “meals” and covers all food and beverage sold for immediate consumption. That includes pints at tasting rooms, apparently.

    Since the rate went up, towns have also had the option of adding a 0.75% local tax on top of it. Charlton does.

    Hey guys, haven't been up to Tree House since December. Road tripping up from PA on Thursday June 21 to get cases for my bachelor party that weekend. How have the lines been on Thursdays? Is there a good time to go for relatively short lines and possibly a pour? Thanks!

    line = short
    pours = yes

    else
    line = short
    pours = maybe
