Ok, that makes more sense. For me, I can't ever tell much from pours that size.

Try them again if you get the chance. They do some good things! Grab a pint across the street.

I definitely agree with this - they tasted like completely different beers when I had full pours from the growlers at home than the samples at the brewery. Those little glasses don't do justice.

Just had these guys for the first time. Martian Moon as mentioned is legit.

For the record, full pours of at least one River Roost are usually available at Blackback Pub in Waterbury if you want more than a taster, and would like to sit down and enjoy the experience.

Drinks a lot smoother than 11%; creamy milk stout esque, with a chocolate-y, chipotle nose

Notes run with smoked chocolate and cocoa with cinnamon, vanilla, leather, and a hints of cardamom as it plays out. The heat is present, but the overall control of habanero is nicely done: reserved.

there was some faint cardboard on the backend as it opened, but nothing jeopardizing. In essence, these fellas caught me off guard – Glad they were en-route, and will certainly revisit

Well River Roost's new cover photo brings quite the good news.

This is fantastic! I couldn't find any info on whether they are actually selling cans yet. Anyone have any insight?

Hope this thread doesn’t blow up too much, place is already small enough as it is –

Happens to be the day I work from home, otherwise I definitely would've swung by (for the sake of this thread, of course...)

I messaged them on Facebook and they started selling cans yesterday. They are still available today and should last through the day. They aren't really sure what to expect for demand. Their hops are as good as any I have had and really unique.

This is great news. I've become a big fan of RR over the last year or so. Love that when my wife goes skiing in southern VT, WRJ is on her way home and she doesn't mind a stopping at RR and getting a to-go box of burnt ends from Fatty's.

I was up in VT for my bachelor party back in April and had River Roost for the first time at Blackback. My God I was absolutely floored. Never tasted an IPA like theirs before. So good.

I live in the area and love River Roost. It was only a matter of time however until the word got out. Mark is making one amazing brew after another. If they start distributing than 100% there goes the neighborhood.

Does anyone know if River Roost is doing a canning run this week?
