After a couple sips I decided to check out some reviews and see if my tastes buds were telling me the truth. Sure enough, Mirror Universe gets consistently great reviews! It’s a hazy IPA too.

Glad you are enjoying it. It’s a cult classic here in Montana. They used to just distribute to half the state. I always read reviews about the smoke flavor or lack thereof. “Cold Smoke is the lightest, fluffiest snow on Earth! It is sought after by powder skiers and riders everywhere with the fervor of Knights questing after the Holy Grail. It originates in dry clouds whose temperatures hover around 5 degrees ferinheight.”

I think I had a scotch ale years ago brewed by someone I cannot remember. This one taste so much better than the one I can remember. Does Kettle House brew other styles that folks like?

 

Visited Orpheus Brewing yesterday and picked up this bad ass stout. Dark River I, Imperial Stout aged 6-26 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels with Java Lords coffee beans. Cheers all.

Another Front Range usual for me, the Elevated. Shockingly, I might like the Station 26 just a tad better... huh. Cheers! Happy Monday (?!).

 

This easy drinking ipa is for all the BAs who keep the lights running in here on the slow days. Cheers, you degenerate bastards.

 

I may be old and stupid (at least I am honest) but every once in awhile I need to step out of my IPA and DIPA comfort zone. @JayWhitson sent me a plethora of beer this past weekend and many were beer styles I either have not had or have not had in awhile.

The first one I had was a scotch ale. Enjoyed the hell out of it so I thought I would try another beer style. This one is a cream ale. Again, very good stuff. Thanks my friend.

Fear not @TheIPAHunter . I have not abandoned IPAs. By the way, where is that dude?

 

Do what I did. Retire, but don’t tell anybody.
So far so good.

 

Or you can do what I did (or more precisely, what was done to me). Get laid off and get an earlier retirment package.

 

I am overdue for a six pack of this. Good stuff. Good price. And easier to get then some local beers.

For me it was when I realized I wasn't able to do the job 100% as well. My customers deserved 100%. You'll know your time, I'm sure.

Just finished draining the *****y fluid and replacing the pan my sons car. Never seen anything like a pan almost rusted all the way through. Thought I would grab my last of these as a treat. 2 months and still tastes excellent.

 

@JayWhitson tried like hell to divert me from drinking my Veil DIPAs tonight. Probably one of the more successful attempts. But after a couple of awesome brews he sent and I drank, I eventually have to answer to the governor. Mike, what the hell are you doing drinking beer not from a Richnmond, let alone, VA brewery. Yikes!

A solid Veil DIPA. Wish I had enough to send to all the DIPA addicts on BA. But alas, my last one.
