DDH Hop Showers w/ Mosaic drop today at open. Stoked. Anyone think that Cashmere + Galaxy might also be a midweek drop?

 

I think OH should have a release of 4-5 different variations of Hop Showers

Just saw a post on the OH Facebook group speculating that they have closed on a space in DC. I really need to get off Facebook.

Do we need to debate the fact they hate locals now?

 

Need is an awfully strong word. There's nothing stopping us, of course, so why not? I think the biggest "OH hates locals" side of a possible DC location will be the lack of beer from Virginia being traded in line on Saturdays (eat it, you on line people). Clearly OH doesn't want any other super-hyped beer in NYC, which is why they're adding a DC spot that all the Virginia OH fans can go to -- all because they hate locals.

 

i mean you joke but there is some truth to that... ive been using OH to access the beer i love from that area, which probably wont be as easy.
are there any cases anyone can think of where a brewery like this opened a second location so far away from their original? it seems weird to me.

There’s never been a stronger argument for ‘OH Hates Locals’ than this. More breweries equals more locals to hate on. They’re gonna keep spreading the hate until they can hate locals in every corner of the country.

 

I find it kinda strange the Other Half would expand so quickly after starting to barely meet demand, especially with a location that's far away.

Yeah I'm fairly skeptical of this.

 

I need to share the sentiments listed above regarding Triple Citra Daydream. So delicious. I'm a huge fan of the OH 10%ers. Don't like to put too many away, so the more bang for your buck concept works well for me, but the very first batches of AGE and even green diamonds were always tough to get through. A lot of burn along with that amazing flavor. Then they started tweaking AGE over the years making it much more melon forward with less burn. Now these high abv beers from them are like nothing I've had before. Each anniversary beer, Blowin up the spot, the triple daydream series... I love 'em all. Really excited for Space Hallucinations next.

 

DC hmmm? So gonna be $50 4-pks that come with "complimentary" marijuana now?
