Lots of hazelnuts and coffee. Some bacon too. Good beer. 4.27 out of 5.

 

Pretty tasty brew, quite drinkable at 11% ABV. Went on a nice ride today, 92, thought I was going to beat the sun, almost did, but still pretty hot.

Needlepoint DIPA (8.9%) from Moustache Brewing...

Double dry hopped, featuring Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, and Columbus hops... Has an earthy, husky, woodsy, rustic character... Fruits are kinda subdued, with mild sweetness coming through reminiscent of caramel and resin... Bitterness is shellac-like, moderate, and sticky... Medium-weight, smooth, but with a bit of chew... A decent DIPA... 5/28/18 canning...

Keep your hand on your hammer...

I really wanted to have just one bourbon but wife said no. Obviously, she has the balls in the family. So I had to be satisfied with another Veil DIPA. Actually, I have had two other Veils tonight and I like this the best.

 

Now that is living! Beer, Vinyl and MTB'ing Three of my favorite things!

 

Working on something light while I prep dinner. I’ll work my way up to some IPAs.

Solid easy drinking lager with some actual flavor. Think I prefer this over their Pilsner oddly.

Good evening, all! The sun is finally breaking through the.clouds here in the Cedar Valley, and I have the perfect beer for the occasion. This is Merlin's Mist, a NE-style IPA from Exile Brewing in Des Moines. The hop bill includes Mosaic, Citra, and Nelson Sauvin. I don't have enough experience with the style to say how well this represents it, but I can tell you all that it is one outstanding beer.
