That's really cool (and jealous!), my mom's not a beer drinker (my dad not so much either). :disappointed

Noble Ale Works Citra Showers. Some are calling this a shell of its former self, but it's really not that bad at all. Beachwood Citraholic beats it by a mile, of course.

There is a craft bar right around the corner from bw3 but, I'd feel weird spending $12 on beer for a movie that only cost me about $1 to see (I had a deal on oceans 8 i cashed in for vouchers instead). 2 pints for $6 after tip can't beat that. Of course I spent a few bucks for snacks at aldi. So for my $1 movie ticket I think I spent about $7. Still cheaper than movie tickets most places. Oh and I still have 2 vouchers left. I think I might need to temper my expectations before the new jurassic park movie.

This is insane! Flavors of huge lemon, orange, grapefruit, banana, bubblegum, peach, pineapple, pepper, clove, and light pine hops/yeast; with balanced wheat, white bread dough malts; herbal/floral/grassy hop, and yeasty earthiness. Very mild pine/herbal/grassy bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very creamy, silky, bready, velvety wheat mouthfeel that is perfect. Slight sticky hops and increasing bitter/spicy dryness. Refreshingly drinkable. Very flavorful/rich for the ABV. This is basically just Weihenstephaner hefe with American hops for added character. Perfectly balanced yeast complexity, hops, and pale/wheat malts. I'd put this equal to the base hefeweizen easily. Need to revisit the regular Weihenstephan super soon. Best in the style I've had for both.

Awesome IPA. Aromas and flavors of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, and pine hops; with moderate toasted bread, light honey/caramel malts; and herbal, floral, grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation/body; balanced creamy/bready malts and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Slight resins/rinds, increasing bitter dryness, no hop astringency. Extremely drinkable, never aggressive, 7.2%. Wonderful Simcoe hop showcase. Perfectly balanced juicy and dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, but not overly sweet/heavy. Need to get some regular Norm's again soon. Also a great beer.

Had a bad one tonight....Jerkface 9000 from Parallel 49....nothing like what a wheat beer should be IMO, even though I'm sure it's what they were going for. Finishing with something I didn't think I'd enjoy but am finding it good in an odd way.....Love Buzz Saison by Anchorage Brewing

Make sure you stop by Green Bench in St Pete, and although the people mostly suck at Angry Chair, they have some pretty good big beers

SO sorry to learn that and can relate. We've had to put pets down in the past because they were suffering so badly and it totally ripped us apart inside because of the quandary of us not wanting to let go vs. watching them be so incredibly miserable and knowing nothing else can be done. Totally heart wrenching. I raise my beer for you both.

I bought a 30 pack of this for $11 and tax. I thought surely this will be a mainstay in my fridge all summer. Well it's not even technically summer yet and it's almost gone. Turns out having beer as cheap as water in your fridge will change your drinking habits.

Earlier : What a beautiful day ! Used to drink a fair amount of Ithaca Pale Ale, before they retired it. This is a compromise between that piney goodness & the current NEIPA craze. Some pine, but with some citrus, & Haze-Bro appeal. Not-bad. :sunglasses:

Sorry to hear that. Tough one, but 14 good years will help, in awhile. :pensive:
