That said, the pint line is a different line than the can line.
I'm actually an out of towner so the locals may have a better answer.
My question is: How early does one have to get there on a weekend to get cans of the best IPA's? Do they typically sell out in an hour or two? Or can you go later on a SAturday, or even first thing on a Sunday, and still get the good stuff?

 

How long things last entirely depends on what is released and how much of it there is, stuff has generally be lasting at least into the afternoon and often into Sunday.

 

Nice! Did you see them bottling it or did someone mention it to you? Wonder when it would be released if they are bottling it today...

Sure. Then again, maybe going later in the day you miss all the people who cam early for cans and stayed for pints? I dunno.

 

I heard BA Snowbirds is slated for later this year.

 

Tap room tends to get busier as the afternoon wears on, peak time being around 3. @mkak18, I would aim for lunch/early afternoon and you should be fine. Routinely there once a month on Saturdays around 1130 for a bit and it's never a hassle to find a place to stand, nor is it a long wait for a pour.

Yep, in my experience the best time to go for just pours is right after everyone gets cans, packs up cases, and grabs some pours for themselves. Once most of this crowd leaves there's normally a lot of room to hang out - for normal release days I'd estimate like 11:30-12:30 ish

 

DDH Space Diamonds is now a $22 4-pack, or does that version have more Galaxy?

If it's "quadruple dry hopped" it has to be that much better than all the double dry hopped beers we see every week.
