I looked on their site and can't seem to find details of the Barrel Society Membership. Can someone list the cost, perks etc?

    Bottle Society: $200.00/year (plus tax)
    Membership includes:
    -10 bottles/year (selected by us)
-Special Magnum bottle: 1 per year, available for bottle members only
-Ability to purchase additional bottles at 10% discount (limitations may apply)
-Invitation to our Annual Bottle Member party
    -Barreled Souls swag!
-We will hold bottles for pick up until April 1, 2019. Members can also designate a proxy to pick up bottles.

I dont know what "swag" is included, maybe it's mentioned in some other email i cant find.

    I'll expand on 2 points real quick;

The "Special Magnum bottle" is a blend of some of their barrel aged beers from the 2017 membership. Think Firestone Walker's anniversary bottles. Each year is a new blend, and I'm excited to see what this year's will be.

Regarding the Bourbon BA Stay Puft - these came from a different batch of the base beer than those "Regular" and "Peanut Butter" bottles that are gushers. Remember, the BA version spent over 9 months in barrels, over which time any secondary fermentation caused by the residual sugars from the marshmallows would have taken place. The issues in the other bottles are due to the fact that they bottled them too soon, mistakenly thinking that all fermentation was complete.

I too love the fact that they'll hold my member bottles for the entire year! I was planning on taking monthly trips when I signed up, but so far I've only made it twice. That "unlimited hold" is absolutely beneficial!

I plan to head up to the Stay Puft release in a couple weeks and have a couple questions for who have been to their releases.

Their IG post says the release is at 11 Mill Brook Rd. Is that the address of the taproom or do they have another location?

The release is at 11:00. What time does the line usually form?

Do they sell out within hours, or can I show up later and still grab bottles.

I've noticed they have released magnums for a coulle of their releases. Do they do this with every release and how many do they release?

    Cheers

11 mill brook rd. seems to be another address separate from their brewery+taproom, probably just for this and other popular releases

I dont have much info on when people line up, probably a few hours if you want to be at the front, but i think showing up a bit earlier than opening would be fine. I think they brewed more this time so it should be a bit better.

PB and barrel aged stay puft sold out in hours IIRC, i think regular stay puft sold out in a day. I believe other releases usually last longer than that.

Magnums are only for specific releases, not every one and not this one

I joined the bottle society so i didnt have to deal with lining up early or worrying about when the beers sell out, so sorry i dont have more info on that.

11 Mill Brook Rd is their new brewery location that's production only, they still operate out of the old taproom but evidently will hold a few releases at the new spot

Slight correction. All of the stay puft went on sale last time at 11 and was gone by noon when I hopped in line for pours. Unprecedented for them though, so hard to know what to expect this time. Pours were around a few days I believe.

Anyone have a line on if they're brewing Deep Space this year?

So it looks like barreled souls might be throwing their own beerfest/party. I guess we'll have to wait until wednesday to see.

I haven't been there but from pictures I've seen this venue looks a bit small for 200 people. No? If anyone has been there please let us know how crowded that sounds.

I’ve been many times and agree it seems small for 200. However, the outdoor space nearly doubles the size, so maybe they’re using both?

They should just move the party to the drive-in movie theater, plenty of room

The party will be at the warehouse location, and not the basement location, right? I’ve only been to the basement, but the other location looked pretty big in Instagram pictures.

Slab capacity is 230 including outside. Sounds a bit tight, especially if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Looks like a pretty strong lineup plus location is prime. Feel like I'm definitely in on this one.
