I don't think KOB is very bitter either but I do think it is more bitter than your average juice bomb. Velocity of light was more bitter.

 

ANy see KOB in the west burbs? Doubt beer cellar still has it?

 

Beer Cellar only got 1 case, and it was gone in 20 minutes. Binny's in Bloomingdale got it yesterday, I'd check there first.

North Riverside Binnys had 4 more 4 packs on the shelf as of about 1:30 today.

 

Unless I'm remembering it incorrectly, King of Borgs reminds me a lot of The Juice is Loose by Transient. Could just be my palate.

 

Really digging the KOB. When comparing to the MA beers, it's more Trillium than Tree House. It's got a little of the fullness/grittyness/full hop flavor. I wouldn't necessarily say bite, but it definitely lingers.

 

KoB is worth a trip to the Dojo.

 

I wasn’t going to dare be the first to utter the word trillium, but that’s immediately what I thought of when drinking KOB

It's certainly not an insult...it was the easiest way I could express the taste/feel. It may be hyperbole, but it's really one of the better NEIPAs I've had from the area. It's up there with Stay Lit for local NEIPAs that will stick with me.

I've literally been looking forward to having another one all day....it was worth the wait.

 

Thought I was gonna miss out on KoB but found a couple 4pks at a local grocery store!! Happy day indeed, hits the mark for me!!

 

Well, if you are seeing it in grocery stores up north, I can still hold out hope that this shows at my Binnys. PW drops have become far and few between down here, not to mention unpredictable.
