At TG today. 100$ for SR-71 and 18$ 4 oz pours. Relevant info to previous conversations.

 

TG is not the best bellwether. yes, they make good beers but their business decisions / actions are a joke.

There was a pallet left when I left with multiple people having gone through 3+ times

 

they have been making a ton with those small fruited bottles. those foedres are coming in handy i guess!

 

Also had 100$ on site bottles of KBBS

 

The relatively small amount of space those barrels took up must have been holding up a previously planned gold mine.

 

rent in decorah is outrageous these days.

 

Is the on-site bottle list for the cellar posted anywhere? Going to be in St. Louis this weekend and wondering what treats I might be able to try...O.W.K. maybe?

the brewery tasting room is usually a pic tweeted out the morning of (saturday and / or sunday) and typically only shows to-go and draft options.

as for O.W.K., i wouldn’t hold your breath on that one. sorry.

You're overselling it, don't get their hopes up. The likelihood is way lower than that.

My understanding was their intent was to make it available on site for one weekend ever.

Also, FWIW, my understanding is there's a lot of Raspe, and it should be around for a few more days. Who knows what'll happen after today, but I'm going to attempt to go get mine on Tuesday at the Cellar, to the extent it's still around.

Anyone know anything about when Cory might brew another BW?

 

he tweeted not too long ago about the next batch of anabasis but that takes some years in the barrels.

 

Back in January he tweeted brewing Anabasis for 2020 but that’s b4. B3 is supposedly already in barrel.

Also based on a tweet the OWK equivalent for their second son is going to be a barleywine
