Forbidden Root (2018)

Well, it's always good to be home. Again, absolute blast last night and was great putting faces to names. My buddy had a killer time too and is likely to be back for the July one...maybe me too. We'll see if I can get the permission slip signed again. If not, I know some lawyers who can probably forge something passable for me.

@Quilentro by the end of the night Kraj had found a special place on the wall for the merbs. Hopefully it stays as it really ties the room together.

Pro tip - don't forget to eat dinner before the bottle share. True story. Our game plan was to eat at some point during the night. The next thing I know it's 11ish, the kitchen is long closed, and I'm drinking leftover Appervation. You'll all be relieved to know that I did remember to grab a few crowlers though. It's a topsy turvy world out there kids.

 

Oh yeah, favorite beers of the night that I recall... BA Sump (when life gives @jlsims04 lemons he makes BA whales), coco-nilla (@GreatGazoo are there more secret growlers?), Ruckley, etc. Hudson stuff was tasty and fun to try too. King of the Borgs because it made me feel special. Countless others. Thanks again all!

True story - headed to Brooklyn for a bachelor party. Karaoke will (sadly) be on the docket. I suggested duets with one of my oldest friends: Kokomo and This is America.

He felt very good about the first one, but felt conflicted about the second. His suggested alternative: “a whole new world”

I am simply a product of my upbringing.

True story - Wed night I decided to mow my lawn to try and sweat out some of the night before. Pretty sure I was sweating Baba Yaga. Anywho, neighbor says, "You look hot and tired," and hands me a Anti-Hero. I explain that I wasn't going to drink for a few days due to the previous night. Which of course I had to explain. In the course of said explanation, his kid then me from behind with this giant frisbee and I thought to myself, "You know, you're damn right I am." And I crushed that Anti-Hero. I guess my point is @Quilentro to remember your roots.

Beer menus is almost correct. Added Hay Fever back. No NE IPAs off. Last legs of Assembly. Next one will be ready in 2-3 weeks

Toro release Thursday- I have something special coming that day too....

Assembly Pear Rhubarb went in the tanks and coming in around 2 weeks.
