Who had Germany placing last in their group? Because I sure didn't.

I'm thinking the only fair thing is to go with the original 18 guys who were established before the group play began? Do you know their entry names Dennis?

 

All I can immediately think is to go back through this thread and make an official list of who posted that they were 'in'. Then keep a running scoreboard here. I could help if needed.

Is there any way to make the group private if it isn't? Seems like it needed a password previously.

 

I had the same thought. I can help make the list/keep track of standings, if needed. The other option would be to remove anyone from the group that wasn't on the initial list if you have the power to do that.

This is what I was going to say. Only the original 18 guys. If someone on BA contacted you before the first standings went up, and claimed a bracket, I would let them in too, but that it. We will just have to not count everyone else.

If you can’t kick out the brackets that are not in this thing? Can you still start a different private league and only send the password to the people who are legit signed up. Then we could all join the new league.

Also any idea how these others got in?

 

I like this listing much better - although my runner-up did get knocked out today.

 

I think my total is off a bit, but it wouldn't really help. I should have 10 points for the correct group winners (Uruguay, France, Spain, Brazil) and one runner-up (Mexico) plus 3 points for Croatia/Argentina in the wrong positions, but both qualifying.

Thankfully, all four of my semi-finalists are still alive, but Colombia could be knocked out tomorrow and I kind of want to see that so one African team makes the round of 16 since I'm sending beer anyway.

 

The site updates very slow - no points look to have been awarded for today's matches yet, so the Brazil and Mexico points should get added whenever they pay the intern to manually put in the results.

 

If we fill out the knockout phase bracket are the points going to add to the total or should I just not fill it out?

 

I did, but you can fill out a second one with the teams that made it through.

 

That’s a separate thing I am pretty sure. I don’t think it would count towards this league.
