Lol. Corey has traded/sold his own beer for bourbon. Grow up. He helped create this monster/market that is secondary craft beer.

I am a grown ass man that keeps my word when I agree to something. I see no issue with anyone trading their own beer for something. I don't even care about selling beer at all, but if you explicitly agree to NOT DO THAT..then what the fuck is acceptable about that?

Getting this upset about beer doesn’t make you seem like a grown ass man.

Just seems like you are missing the point.l that people are making (because you think "free market" is applicable when it isn't).

If your family member gave you a $2,000 beer, would you not think they should find it insulting if you sell it?

Given the context, it's no different here.

I really don't see the point of repeatedly reminding us that you aren't going to hate on, and aren't going to insult members that resell these limited bottles. And I really don't understand you repeatedly labeling our comments as mad or upset. I know all of my comments are coming from a neutral state of mind and stated as a matter of basic opinion on the subject, and I'm sure others are as well.

If you feel like people are raging at their keyboard over this, maybe that's a projection of what's going on in your mind, and maybe you shouldn't interact with people you feel this way about. But I especially don't see the point in repeatedly stating that everything is fine and let the free market prevail at this point. We got that you think that already, and I'm not sure anyone else agrees with you at this point. Moving on.

lol. I guess you’ve missed the rampant name calling and all caps statements above? Moving on...

Also the same could be said about your exact post. I’ve already said agree to disagree and keep getting quoted. I’m fine with people not agreeing with me. I’m not going to not respond when quoted though.

When I give (sell in this case, that’s what makes free market applicable) it’s theirs to do with what they please. Otherwise it’s not a gift.

I think that you are being willfully dense.

It's clear you don't agree, but that you are also everything that I think is wrong with beer trading. There's lots to be gained by sharing beer through great relationships. I've made so many friends along the way, and I'll give them a lot for way under value (sometimes ignoring value altogether). Those people that would abuse such relationships for personal gain, such as selling said beer in this way under these circumstances, are a travesty. People who can only see personal gain are the bane of the beer trading world and the culture fostered on BA.

I won't say anything else on this matter. There's little point.

Can someone chime to confirm or deny that OWK was given to members and wasn't sold?

Absolutely, he's trolling and I've just now figured that out after trying to get him to see the errors of his thinking. 1 Successful trade on here...moving on.

Lol. Lots of assumptions in there. I’ve never once sold or razzled a beer. Not a single time. That doesn’t mean I don’t respect others rights to do so. I’ve won plenty of razzles though. Because I love gambling and the ability to have a fridge constantly full of semi whales without traveling all over the country.

I too have a bunch of world class trade partners that send back and forth amazing beer. None of us are petty and keep up with who does what with their beer. Especially when we all constantly bend over backwards for each other.

I’ve got an amazing trade group. Never needed to here. The one trade I did here was for a proxy actually.

Not saying that would 100% change my mind, but it would be more shady if so.

You are extremely sensitive to read the above and label it "rampant name calling and all caps statements" like it's of any significance and impacts your well being in any substantial way. And if your view of the comments was actually accurate, it still has no bearing on the discussion. I mean, why bring it up at all? It comes across as extremely petty.

Lol. Petty? Kinda like calling a bunch of complete strangers ***** for selling a beer?

I’m not sensitive about anything. This group complaining come off as just mad they aren’t in the club.

What is your aversion to name calling? Your behavior is petty. A very exclusive and limited membership base potentially reselling their bottle (and hopefully being kicked out of the membership) is ****-ish. I don't really find anything difficult to cope with on those two basic observations. Apparently you do but hey, take a deep breath, you'll get over it eventually. At least you should at some point far into the future.

Like I said before, we can just agree to disagree. Completely fine by it. If someone quotes me again no need for you to keep repeating this act.

First time posting in this thread - I'm heading to St. Louis tomorrow from DC for some Neil Young solo acoustic action at the Fox. Anyone know if it's possible to try some Derivation (any blend)? I'll be flying in at 5pm and plan on heading to the SP Cellar pre-show, but I doubt they have it available. I'm willing to bring some beers from my cellar to trade. Let me know if anyone can help me out...Cheers!
