Really great read for those who haven't heard Jester King's stance on the issue of macro's buying up micros.

    Strong, warranted stance.

WOW, that is one hell of a letter! Well said and kudos to them for sticking with their core values. I commend them for saying what they said...
    Cheers

@Todd I know who I would love to see do an upcoming BMA.... Jester King....

Feel free to drop in the request. In the meantime, I've got an email in inquiring about the exact percentage as they signed up for Extreme Beer Fest: Boston (2019).

Hmmz, sounds very determined, but makes me wonder how Jester King is available in AB Inbev owned European webshops like Saveur Biere.

Are you really going to make a new thread for every brewery that pulls out of BE now...? There's like ten of them already... Why can't you just leave this in the BE thread where it belongs...?

That's news to us. We periodically send beer to Europe via Drikkeriget.

Because this is a statement about independent craft beer and some people making a stand. Not just the festival. You aren’t looking at the bigger picture

Does anyone know what The Veil has said about this (JK referenced them taking a stance in the letter)? They're local to me and I follow them on social media but haven't heard or seen anything about it from them.

10 different breweries have done this already, do we really need 10 different threads on this now?

Those prices aren't that bad, considered the USA prices and that these beers have been imported from the USA. European beers are much more expensive in the USA. Or am I wrong?

I don't care if those cost the same in the USA, I'm still not paying 20€ (on average) for a bottle of beer. Well, unless it's a Double Bastard variant, of course.

We don't have 10 different threads right now, but if all 10 brewers issued statements worthy of a thread we'll give each one their own thread vs. a link (that far less will see, let alone click) that's buried amongst the banter in a general thread.
