It's pretty close. Orange wax doesn't have the same value as purple. Really just depends on what you want.

Trading an All Star for two good players never works out.

Late entry... Has anyone seen a trade close for ADWTD box? If so, what was involved.

What if just one of the good players is better than the overhyped all-star. I traded a pvw15 and a '16 er17 for a pvw23. Seemed like a good move for me at the time but I'd much rather have 2 15's.

I'm a little late but was curious how many VR units a 3F A&G magnum is worth?

I'm curious on this as well.

Magnums are wierd for me. They seem to be only for conspicuous consumption. Otherwise, with the value some people have traded for (or ask for) them, it just is a no brainer to acquire a few of the smaller bottles that are exactly the same beer.

So, personally I would never trade something high of value away, but I care not about conspicuous consumption. That said, I've had several people offer me various lambic magnums for an Assassin. So, either everyone's way over-valuing, or I just don't care at all.

That said, the one thing that seems to be consistent is that almost always it seems that trying to trade a magnum seems difficult. It's a niche product, and to get the value lots of people want, it seems like it absolutely takes the right set of eyes (and the right timing - since people seem to want them for weddings, bachelor parties, etc.).

I need some help with Pliny the Elder. Is it readily available in California year round? I'd like to trade for some bottles but have no idea where to start. Would beers like Triple Barrel Baptist, Baptist Reserve, Abyss Rye, BA tenfiddy etc trade 1:2 or 1:3 (1 of mine for 2 or 3 Pliny) ? Or would it be more like 1:1 or F*** Off.

    Thanks!

I was trying to trade one
Pliny is year-round I believe and always available. It's less than $10 a bottle and you should be able to find someone to do cash for cash. If you're going to trade a ba stout you should be able to get 2 depending on what you're Trading

    ^^This guy gets it.

Seems like the A&G mag settles just below a VR unit. People might be willing to pay for the novelty of the mag pushing it to 1:1. If its a domestic trade that should help too as mags were not at all common stateside (europe was pretty decent distro and 3pp at the brewery for some time I think).

It is still a bit difficult to get but not hard for people near San Fran. Some of the beers you list are national distribution like Abyss Rye and BA 1050. Maybe start with the Baptist Reserve since it wasn't national distribution. You could pull it for good local hops as well, doesn't carry the value it once did.

Think you need a good plus on the AG side for a VR.

Also, should go at minimum $4$ since it is attainable all the time.

Saw an SR-71 offered for it, but didn't see if it closed. The box set goes for around 6 VR typically.

Not super high. You could probably grab hans with a plus. DBV I think you would need both and maybe a plus.
