In fairness, at when at MoRE they are probably eating cheese curds, french fries, macaroni & cheese, and maybe sliders for the oldest. I wouldn't go nominating me for Father of the Year quite yet.

Haha...I hear ya. More is actually one spot where at least one of my kids eats well, as she has proclaimed them to have the "best buttered noodles". If they change the recipe for those, there may be a riot.

I think the entire recipe for buttered noodles is literally in the name of the dish. I think youre safe

7 year old palates beg to differ. No parent is safe when dealing with that.

They were definitely gone by the following Monday. Needless to say I'll be buying the max tomorrow.

I believe they sold out that very same evening/night. They weren’t there the next day from what I’d read.

Different strokes for different folks of course, but Im genuinely surprised the BAers go nuts for the frooted series.

I agree, I had some on draft the last time it was released and didn't think it was that great. I passed on a crowler and went with a 4 pack of dusty instead.

Not to sound apologetic, but having a low ABV alternative to an IPA day or APA that isn’t a lager or something similar is great. I don’t profess that they’re the end all be all. But they’re awesome for things like sitting near a pool on a 98 degree Saturday afternoon where I don’t want to get drunk.

I feel like this harkens back to the "would you (hypothetically) drink non alcoholic beer if it tasted like alcoholic beer" thread that was in the general beer talk forum a month ago.

I drink beer because I like the taste. BA stouts are amazing to my palate, and I love the Barrel presence (both the subtleties, but also the bourbon/Rye etc flavor that might hit you in the face). I enjoy a lot of styles - even some IPAs now (although I have to be careful with the bitterness). That is all to say that:

    1) I'd never want to drink just 1 style forever
    And
    2) I drink beer because I love the taste and I can't get those exact flavors from beer alternatives.

I (personally) enjoy the new glarus fruits. If I was in Chicago, I'd love to try these as well. I would not drink them constantly (I barely drink fruit juice of any kind), but there are occasions that I would.

I virtually never drink to get drunk, and only on seldom occasion drink with any goal of being tipsy. So, flavor with low alcohol ABV is a real winner (personally).

I feel like I blew up this conversation into something it wasn't, but just giving my opinion/perspective.

I’ve always thought the frooted series was OK, but it’s definitely helped the willingness of my significant other to join me to go to MoRE....more?
