Kane Brewing (May/June 2018)

this DDH HH is better than regular HH, Galaxy HH is the best (agreed). Cracked this DDH Galaxy Sneak last night and it was good but I dunno I wasn't feeling it as much, I kind of remember this feeling when I had it one tap. Reg Sneak is better for me I feel like, maybe I just prefer that beer with Citra as the hop bill and not anything else

 

have they done a Galaxy DDH Imperial Sneak? i feel like that would be a good beer. I don't think I have had any of the SB hop variants, but I feel like SB is a very well balanced beer as it is and adding a very overpowering hop - such as galaxy, may knock the beer off of it's axis, which can be aligned with an adjusted malt bill (Imperial-style)

 

I don't think so but sounds like a good idea. When Sneakbox was "hop lab citra" we played around with adding galaxy. We all liked it but it was a bit overpowering and changed what the beer was supposed to be. That's why it's fun to just do it as a one-off instead.

 

I only think I disagree because of personal opinions on El Dorado DH beers

 

I will say its been a while since I had a regular head high, I might have at my local bar but it was after some other beers lol. Galaxay HH above all though

 

Last week I picked up HH cans from Wegmans, canned 6/8. Went back there today, hoping they had more 6/8's left. Nope....they had 6/14's. Great job!...keep up the stellar distribution!

 

Fresher than I've gotten it at the brewery sometimes

 

That's good to hear. We're trying very hard to balance stores not running out with cans being as fresh as possible. Glad to hear our sales/distro guys are getting it right so far.

Two Kane regrets : Leaving my original chalice at a buddy's house knowing it would get broken. Not buying more Sea Change when it was first bottled.

Hallelujah finally canned lagers, of course I’m too stocked from a recent vacation to go. Hope this becomes more regular now.

 

Here now (12:30 ish). Very chill. Pours of Apiary on Peaches still available. Half bottom row of the fridge is full of bottles now.

 

low key, some morning bell poured over Talenti cold brew is amazing. perfect for staying inside in the AC and remembering when you waited in line at Tree House for over an hour in negative windchill.
