Missing out on Frooted by one person, if people were able to get four 4-packs, that's really going to chap my ass.

The sign in the to-go section said Frooted was 2/pp

I missed out, electing to go to lunch with my wife and 2 kids. That was the right call. But I'd be lying if I said I had no regrets.

I'm headed to Michigan for vacation, and was supposed to take a couple of 4 packs with me. I may resort to the trade forums. Dammit.

Didn't they post limits yesterday as 4 4-packs?

Why trade for a beer they'll probably release again in the next month?

I need it for next week. I probably won’t end up doing it though. I’ll just take a couple of Zimas.

No crowlers. More replied to someone on Facebook saying there wasn’t enough Frooted available to put in crowlers.

Had Frooted (plum/raspberry) on tap. It is a nice fruit beer. It's always good to have an option between styles that resets the pallette.
Also good was the Helles from Hilsenbeck with my Nashville hot.

Can someone explain to me why exactly a beer like these will explode? Someone else mentioned it in another thread, and this shit seems bananas to me, knowing nothing about it.

The sugar in the fresh fruit gets fermented by any active yeast still in the beer.

More always amazes me, I don't know how such mediocre beer gets so praised and sought after. Now the food, that they are definitely doing right. I have only been 4 times so maybe it's gotten better....

Mediocre compared to what set of beers? Is loose candies and frooted mediocre compared to all of the beers on a binnys shelf right now?

Loose candies? Yes, you can go to binnys and grab at least 4 superior beers on any given date.

Frooted? There isn't really anything like it for better or worse if you like this style then more is the only one doing it.

How exactly do you define superior to people if that superior sentiment is based on one's own personal preference and palate? It's not exactly an argument or a debate that can be had. There are no facts to present.

This is all opinion; there's no empirical evidence for better flavor.

I personally don't think MoRe's IPA's are very good. I can't recite pH levels to tell you why; even if I could, anyone could easily counter that they PREFER the pH levels that I'm citing, for example.

Suffice to say, these MoRe IPA's (across the board) aren't very citrus/fruity and are dry to my palate; I find them earthy & boring.

They make a good stout, though. Too bad I won't wait in line for 'em...I'm waiting for next winter when they go back to the lottery to test my luck.

‘Prefer’ is the word I was looking for. It’s fine to prefer things and not like other things. But superior carries a different meaning, and it didn’t make sense to me in this instance because of the personal preference aspect.

There are many beers and breweries people on this forum are very high on which I don’t like, but I don’t think it’s accurate or appropriate of me to just name another brewery or beer which I like more and proclaim it superior.
