Congress is $15? I’m the same way as you, I never buy a full four pack of anything there, so I don’t recall the 4 pack price.

It means that if you’re already in the market for a $15-20 four pack of fancy IPA, there’s really no point in getting hung up on one being a couple dollars more than another. Just get the one you want.

It’ll be a lot cooler if they sold it for $15. I wonder how much more they’d sell...

hop burn is an understatement-I am impressed to get cans dated 6/22 in MA, but the can I cracked just is walloping me like a 50lb pound bag of hops straight to the face. I usually enjoy aggressive beers, but I hope you are right and it mellows.

Stopped into Gordons in DTX via afternoon and they did not have King Sue. Upon asking I was told “We didn’t get it. And our beer buyer is PISSED!!” Can’t say I blame them, Gordon’s has a good reputation as far as I’m concerned and fair pricing, seems odd they would get screwed on this release.

Bought Golden Nugget canned 5/30 for $11.99 instead and loving it.

Yea a lot of places that normally have toppling goliath seemed to have been screwed on this one, I think anyone using atlantic beverage was the ones on the nope list. Found two cans randomly at some store I never go to. Craft beer cellar had them but they were trying to hock em for over $5 a piece so I shook my head.

Yankee Attleboro has it for 19.99. Have to ask for it. Not on the shelf.

Store I buy for got one case, gone within an hour or 2. My rep had 2 cases for his whole territory, must not be a lot to go around

So King Sue. It's ok. Big custardy citra beer. Bit of hop burn. Pretty ugly to look at. Astringent resinous after taste. Bit rough around the edges. Little harsh. Not something I can imagine buying again. Would take Psuedo, Pompeii or Nugget over this any day.

I don't work for them but Atlantic's top 100 accounts received and allocation. They didn't receive many cases so max allocation was 3 cases to the TWs and most places got 1-2 cases
