Maybe I don't understand what you are saying, but isn't draft stuff always more expensive than buying the same thing bottled at a store?

No, not always - or, at least, not to this extent. I think I’ve been to a bunch of tap rooms where you can get pours and crowlers for pretty cheap.

Eeek! is $0.79 per oz in bottle vs $1.12 per oz on draft. That’s a pretty big mark-up!

But I don’t know, I guess I’m also sleep deprived and in a bad mood because all of this rain, so maybe that’s clouding my judgment.

Pricing on Saison Day is keeping me away. The Allagash stuff in particular is insane. $12/8oz is way too rich for my blood for the style.

Is the current tap list and available to go bottles posted anywhere for The Mousetrap? I know today is saison day, so the draft list a few pages back is what will be available today, but what about in general?

Also, does anyone know if eek bottles are still available?

Try beermenus.com but of course it depends if they have updated it (they usually do)

Why does Off Color act like they have more demand for their releases than they actually have? Why do a ticketed system if the bottle will not sell out? Has any Off Color special release ever been difficult to get? They did the same thing with Eeek!. It sat at the Moustrap for months before they decided to distribute it. Just pick a day and sell the bottle. Don't make it so complicated with a specific time to reserve bottles and then only do public on sale afterwards.

Seems like a weird thing to get worked up about.

It’s about avoiding unnecessary lines and knowing the traffic volume they expect each day. I’m a big fan of the way they run these releases. Super smooth.

Their four-packs are generally $8 as well, so said point is even more valid.

Visited the Mouse Trap today for the first time, and damn what a cool spot ! Especially with the out door patio, got to sit out, and even when the rain started this afternoon being under the umbrellas was fine. Staff was super friendly. Beers were incredible. I was hoping to try the Coffee Dino S'mores but it ran out just as I ordered it. I haven't had Dino S'mores or any of the variants, so hopefully some other time. Cool spot for sure and will definitely be back.
Also, Yuzu Fierce is back again and it's great.
