Oh yeah! Dayman too. Did they ever rerelease or has it been some 6 years or so since that came out?

They only released it once. Sucks, it was a good one. One of Stone’s best.

I could’ve sworn they rereleased it or something very similar during that period when they were rereleasing their greatest hits.

You know...I think they have re-released it but tap-only through the brewery. I don’t believe they ever bottled it again.

City Slickers - a tale in 3 parts (curly's trilogy)

2016 (Moe) - Damn this is good. I hate fruity beers and this is pretty amazing. Wait, there's another batch with a different color? We definitely got one of the better OH collabs with this one.

late 2016.. I hope they do City Slickers again. Prickly pears rule.

2017 (Larry) - Rangers playoffs... perfect time to redo City Slickers! Awesome..it's gonna be as good as that first batch.. well.. maybe not, but it's gotta be a good omen it's released during the semifinals..Rangers choked, so obviously, beer not as good as batch one.

2018 (Curly) - Higher abv for city slickers sequel? It's not necessary. (one month post stanley cup playoffs... obviously beer has nothing to do with stupid hockey superstitions) But wait.. Could this be even better than the OG?

Personally, I'm really digging the sequel. I agree with the previous comments on the less robust flavors from the >7% OH beers, but never thought that about the OG CS. Having said that, I may have enjoyed the 8.5% version even more. All the original flavor and balance of fruit and hops with enough lemon/galaxy bitter and not too much pear sweetness, along with the extra DIPA treatment. Superb beer. Don't sleep on it.

Just had the DDH Oh...That's Trill yesterday and thought this was one of the best OH beers I've ever had. It has Sabro hops which I think is a new hop that I've never heard of. It had a kind of slight coconut taste without using coconut that I thought was great and very unique. Had anyone else tried this and if so what did you think?

City Slickers 2 is better than I hoped for definitely. Sweet, juicer. Still refreshing. Good mouthfeel.

I think in a week it's going to be even better! Has just the slightest edge that will get juicier and mellow. Cans were literally coming off the canning lines and being put into customer's hands. They didn't even finish the canning before they starting selling.

Just had a 4oz pour. For me I wouldn’t put it right up at the top and say it’s one of the best I’ve had from them. Definitely very good though. And completely agree about the coconut.

Also maybe this is fairly common these days and I just hadn’t noticed. But $5 for a 4oz pour (most were $4 but this and a couple of others were $5)??! If it’s a 12% BA Stout with a bunch of stuff added, then that’s one thing. But that’s really steep for a beer like this.

I also had a pour of strawberry whipz. It’s fine. Absolutely nothing special though

The collab beers are on tap already? Great Notion brew on? Can sales aren’t until Saturday, right?

I’m afraid I didn’t do a full scan. Just noticed whipz so thought I’d give it a try. Was just there to grab a 4 pack. Would guess if one is on they all are but can’t confirm for sure

    Yeah cans are Saturday

Untappd is showing just Economic Realities and Strawberries are on tap. The Veil and the Garage are not.

So is this going to be a crazy release? I'm betting it will be a longer line than a normal Saturday release but this isn't a wrap the block Monkish/Trillium/Equilibrium release right?

Am I naive to think it won’t be too bad at all? Or is that just a function of none of the beers sounding super appealing (to me)?

The Veil and Great Notion are hyped so people will come out for them on name alone I think? For me the most interesting is Please Saber this Can, I've been waiting for Other Half to do a take on this as I've loved all of the Dialed In variants.

I had trouble finishing a 4oz of the coffee IPA. Strawberry whipz is just ok. First time trying VIP Green City, helluva beer

I found the VIPGC to be too boozy, but i prefer my ipa's between 6 and 8.5 abv.

What's the deal with the $7 bags of popcorn?

Just had my first Cashmere + Galaxy (left them in a friend's fridge and just got them back over the holiday), and the smell is almost exactly like red Hawaiian Punch. I mean this in the best possible way.
