Sand City Brewing (2018)

Holy hell Infiniti + 2 is amazing. I really wish I could have grabbed more than a 4 pack. There was only about 5 cases sitting out when I got there and about 10 people behind me. The 5 people in front of me all bought cases. I hate buying an abundance of beer I may not need when other people are behind me.

Any word if radical two is good?

 

Sand City has a hefeweizen now. I busted a nut.

This may be the first hefe released by a local brewery unless I missed something. Not an easy style to make.

These are the words written next to the canned dates of several cans I have here. Is there a purpose to these words?

 

I had it the other day when picking up cans of Oops and Diamond. I thought it was really good but agree the banana was a little muted. It is such a hard style of beer to perfect but I expect, with time, they will get this one right.

They have a Kolsch coming out on Tuesday. I think I heard it was being canned. I will stock my fridge with that for weeks.

 

Grabbed a 4 pack this afternoon as I was working in Commack. Had a can at the beach before. Tasted like Even Mo Mofo up front with a nice variation in taste at the end. Very solid beer for sure.

 

Putting out fires released today.

 

Super excited to grab a 4 pack of that Kolsch tomorrow. Threes Vliet Pilsner has become my go-to beach beer but I have high hopes the Kolsch may supplant Vliet.

 

Okay well now that you made me go back and look to be positive, it is only on tap. Damnit.

Anyone else have ja basta? Literally smells like puke. Taste isn't awful, but not great. Even mo mais was excellent.

 

No wonder it lasted so long. I was there today but didnt give it a try. Agree that even mo mais was excellent — I liked it better than the original even mo mofo.

Finally got to try the Kolsch today. Man they need to can that beer!
