Fieldwork appreciation thread

TMD and Losers Club were both really fantastic. I'll get to the other two tonight.

 

I'm diggin them all , haven't had the parfait yet. My buddy compared to sauvige to a treehouse , I thought that was a valid comparison.

 

I went back last night to get growler fills and was surprised to find out that cans of Sauvige were still available. I ended up getting a splash of the Blueberry Parfait and while it was better than Strawberry, I still wasn't that keen on it. I think I'm gonna pass on the Parfait series unless they use fruits that aren't mainstream in the U.S. like jackfruit, guanabana, quenepas, rambutan, etc.

 

As predicted by KevS a page back.... Untappd users are on the low side.... only give it a 4.04.

 

Just finished my last can of Sauvige Garden, and the only negative about that beer is that I don't have any more

How it's only a 4.02 currently in Untapped is beyond me. Currently on my last Truly, Madly, Dankly and this one has aged in an awesome way as well. I really need to make more of an effort to get to fieldwork releases after missing them for half a year.

Cherry was tasty, but not as good as the best of the Parfaits IMO. Was glad that the limit was 6 at San Mateo though, as I still had people asking me to grab them some cans…

 

I had a glass of Cherry. It was a bit too much - viscous, sweet, and the cherry was like maraschino, not a dark, ripe cherry. Def got the vanilla. I have a crowler of Blueberry at home - I haven't had it yet but probably will this weekend. I hear that's a good Parfait.

 

your discription of cherry sounds like mine with blue : /

 

hmm I still haven't had my blueberry, if it's like the cherry, I'm going to need help finishing that crowler

 

Any news of can release for this week? Their IG page has been quiet. Plan to visit Monterey tomorrow. Will be stopping in after ASB. First time for both. Cheers.

Just saw this Jay O. On the plane heading back to LAX. Only got 4 cans. No more rom in my small bag. Got ASB cans also. My Sierra sold by the cans only. Talk tomorrow. Do you have MoonRaker Tangerine Sky?

Nice! There were still a lot of cans left in Berkeley around 5PM on Saturday, which is a bit outside of normal. I had two cans over this weekend, and while it's far from the best beer they make, it was a good shot down the middle.
