I thought Bendy Straw Raspberry was not very good. Had a cough syrup and medicinal flavor going on. Duke Juicem on the other hand was awesome.

I had both of the BA Cococups and definitely preferred the Vanilla version.

I liked Bendy and didn’t get a medicinal quality, but a couple of people at my cookout did pick up what you got too. Duke is great and I enjoyed both BA Big Slice and Cococup Vanilla.

The Bendy had an odd flavor - we characterized it more as a smokey quality than medicinal. Solid but not the best.

    Duke was great.

BA Cococup was great. The pour of vanilla we got was warm for some reason and not very good. Not sure what went wrong there.

For NEIPAS I think there is something to be said for brewing a beer around a fruit rather than brewing a beer and adding fruit. Reign in Punch was awesome because they came up with a concept of a Hawaiian Punch beer and made it work. Simply taking an existing beer and adding fruit isn't the same- you aren't balancing the beer around whole process.

    Hey Everyone,

So! Corridor is in a bit of a transition process. Roger is joining the brewery team at Maplewood. We wish him nothing but the best and thank him for everything he has done for Corridor this past year. Eric Padilla who brewed with Roger at Corridor as his assistant brewer and as head brewer at DryHop has accepted the head brewer’s job at Corridor. We have all the confidence that he will keep Corridor’s haze train on the tracks and full steam ahead. We invite you to join us on Friday, 6/13 to wish Roger bon voyage and welcome Eric back to the Corridor family. We will be tapping SqueezIt for the night along with a few surprises. This batch of SqueezIt was brewed by both Eric and Roger at the controls, and we think it’s one of the best. You guys keep enjoying the haze and we’ll keep rockin’ and rollin’, cheers.

Whoa, Duke Juicem blew me away. Their blend of Mosaic, Motueka, and El Dorado is nailed.

    That's everything I want in a NEIPA.

Cracked a Duke Juicem before golf last night. That was excellent. One of the better ones I’ve had from Corridor. Well done.

Stopped in at Corridor yesterday for some squeeze it and to wish Roger all the best in his new venture and welcome Eric back to Corridor. A most excellent time, and really enjoyed the BA Cococup and Rye Barrel Big Slice.

Had a great time talking with everyone and look forward to the Brews Eric will be making at Corridor because I have always enjoyed his beers when I could stop in at Dryhop and believe he will be a great person to pick up the torch and run.

Thanks @dubo09 for the hospitality, and Roger for a year-and-a-half of great beer.

    Cheers

Hey @dubo09 estimate on how long OG lasts? My buddy may swing by this week to grab some to go for a weekend get together we're having. If it's out, or soon to be, any haze on deck this week? TYIA!

Reign in Punch or something new, but similar? And when can we expect it?

I'm late to this news, but good for both of 'em. They're great guys, fun to hang with, and always willing to share info, barbs, and insights on their beers. Glad that Roger is staying local, at Maplewood, and that Eric gets to go back to his training grounds... bright futures for both are ahead. Cheers to all you lucky Chicagolanders... from
