Strawberry whipz is a fine beer but comes across extremely uninspired.

The mouthfeel as Ford noted is very thin. It really comes across like a doubled-up mimicry of a Grimm Pop beer, but not as well made.

    Maybe it needs some time?

I finally opened one of the Cognac BA Smokescreens yesterday and man it was so spirit forward to the point that I don't think I could taste the underlying beer. I still have 3 more cognac BA beers from them too...

Against my better judgment I grabbed a 4pack of each of Saturday’s releases. Although they’re gimmicks I don’t normally love, I’m really glad I got them all. Rarely is there so much variety offered on a can release.

Saw labels for a new collab with Verdant called Purple Visions or Purple Hands or something like that (it was hands with an eye in the center) on Saturday. They told me that should be coming this week. Not sure what else though.

A couple people told me its a stout so it could be a few more weeks or months even. That is of course if that info is accurate.

That beer will be 5 times better than their best this year.

Fireplace Bananas was the first 5 way collab with this bunch so I’m betting it’s a stout as well. That said the DIPAs all sound dope, pretty straight forward compared to last week.

so, is there a chance that the 5-way will be a BA stout and not appear until next year's green city as a VIP only release?

I must say the Inspirational Song Omnibus label may be the best label ever.

I think they will still do an IPA Green City next summer but Andrew said in that article that they were thinking of doing a Stout Festival in the Winter and possibly a Sour Festival in the Spring.

    Shut up liver!

Excited for the Kolsch. There was also a keg topper I saw the other week for a Pilsner collab with Trillium called Possibility of Interest so hopefully that is soon too.
