Their new tap room is awesome, it's definitely worth going to if you have never been. Have fun man!

I didn't get tickets. Frankly I'm pissed off - why isn't Toppling Goliath doing more for their Chicagoland fans. I mean I think at this point I deserve to have the chance to buy this bottle. I support them by buying their beer here in Chicago and they should give back to me for buying their beer.

Did I do that right? :stuck_out_tongue:

You did it totally wrong. Every brewery owes it to "the locals." No one living more than 10 miles away should even get their standard releases, let alone special ones. THINK ABOUT THE LOCALS BRAH!!!

Did they fuck up the purchaser and ticket holder for anyone else? I put my name and then my guests name down and only my name is on both tickets for both sections

Are you looking on your phone? I noticed on my phone only my name was listed but if I opened the tickets in a browser then I saw both Ticket Purchaser (me) and ticketholder (my guest) on my guest ticket

Boggles my mind people would be that much for two bottles of beer, but more power to ya!

Nope showing my name on both tickets for browser and mobile. Etix or TG better address this before the event. Saw some other people with the same problem in the MW forum.

If this boggles your mind, you should check the secondary market sometime.

I guess I'm an old school craft beer guy but the thought of gouging people like that for beer is just absurd and classless.

"This performance is sold out." But what about the beer?

You just forgot the part where you are supposed to show your IL ID (particularly the Chicago residency part) and they automatically send you through the line. I think you got everything covered then.

Huh, I thought Mornin Delight was a pretty well respected beer.

I think it is. But it's not BA which knocks it down a bit in most people's eyes. And here in Chicagoland, I think most people feel Imperial Smells Like Bean Spirit is 'good enough' or every bit as good as, and therefore the effort and/or price isn't worth it.

I liked Mornin' Delight a good bit when I had it, but I wanted more of it (and I do want to do a side by side with ISLBS). Plus, I like going to Toppling Goliath brewery. This will be my 3rd trip out there this year (although one was both brewery visit and golfing 3-day weekend with another 10 friends of mine).
