I can just see that conversation now for the neckbeards:

"Hey boss, so I typically have to work during these daytime beer releases. Do you think I can move to a 4 day 40 hour work week so I'm not here on those days?"

"What? We need you on beer release days- this is a brewery!!!!"

 

How is it?

 

I wish I could say that I tried it. As I got my 4-packs, the hostess was telling parties that the restaurant was full, and I'd rather not wait for one of 20 freshly-seated tables to open up. Plus I HATE doing to awkward hover behind people sitting at the bar.

 

I can't tell you why, but I read this in a jersey south-shore accent.

 

Maybe it’s good we don’t have beers like the top Tree House or Other Half beers being released in Chicago. I can’t imagine what the lines would be like if a something like that were released here.

 

Just imagine if Pipeworks/HA/Rev hadn't all drastically increased brewing capacity in the past few years. Thank goodness I don't have to rush out to HA to get BHA/GDDC, etc. like when they used to run out of bombers on release day.

 

i see more and mikerphone are pandering to the locals again, for shame...

They’re a nice option every once in a while, but these two-hour sellouts are just funny.

 

my cousin lives two blocks from the brewery. strikes out constantly with his 9-5. local doesnt mean shit.

 

You aren’t in the minority, or at least not the only one.

A lot of people have jobs where they work from home, or nonstandard hours

 

Some work nonstandard hours, some are able to swing it during lunch time, some might take the day off, and some people just simply have plenty of money and time.

No real mystery to it.

 

We pulled up today at 11:10am and saw the crazy line and just went in and had a great lunch, tasting all, along with BA Henna. At 12:20pm were able to walk right up and get all of the new cans. Frooted was gone at 12:35pm and some were going back for more 4pks.

Karma just got tapped. Luckily we're here for dinner, looks like I'll be staying longer

I’m really curious what tomorrow is going to look like. I had planned to go for lunch around 130 and possibly wait on the cellar sale, but I’m starting to think I’ll be standing around for 3 hours not getting a table.

 

This may be the most unhappy group of people I’ve seen. Lol
