Crushed some 7.0 and Follow The Gull for the holiday. Both 4-packs easily purchased from a store near me in NJ.

Very pleased to be able to go to a store and buy a distributed beer that tastes like I had to stand in a long line to get it.

Good to know. Leaving tomorrow for Cape May for a week and plan to get some Cape May beers as well as some Carton beers. We are also planning on a trip to Cape May Brewing Company. Shall be a good week.

I think @JackHorzempa is the one who mentioned it, but Always Ready is a killer beer. Planning to take a bunch back home with me (if my wife allows it). It is a session NEIPA pretty much, which makes it an awesome all day beer. Cheers to CMBC for this one!

Actually Always Ready is a pale ale, not a NEIPA. Are you thinking of Follow the Gull? That's their NEIPA that is pretty much a session IPA since the abv is in the lower range at 5.5.

Either way, both are great but Follow the Gull is maybe my favorite Cape May beer, it's that good.

What? No, I had Always Ready which is a Northeast Pale Ale. Which also can be described as a session NEIPA imo. Will look for Follow the Gull too.

I didn't get a chance to go to CMBC while on vacation in Cape May this past week, but below are the beers I did get to try:

    Cape May IPA
    Honey Porter
    Summer Catch
    Always Ready
    Devil's Reach

*Coastal Evacuation (had it a couple years ago, but will retry again sometime later today since I was able to bring back home a 6er of it).

All of them were very good. As noted in a post above, I especially enjoyed Always Ready. I don't think there is a beer I have had at that ABV with as much flavor and body as Always Ready had. This was a home run for CMBC imo.

A couple in the house I stayed in did get a chance to go to CMBC via bike and loved the beers they had. I forget which ones they had, but I know a couple were ones that are being canned in 4 packs such as Bounding Main.

Drinking some Coastal Evacuation, nice beer great aroma. What I also like about it is 6-pack of 12oz cans at $11.49!

Haven't tried it yet but I also picked up a 6-pack of Summer Catch. That was on sale for $8.49, from $9.49!

Finally some love for Always Ready! This beer is seriously unheralded, easily best "shelfie" in NJ by a crazy margin. I drank a lot visiting in June, just had last can tonight (6/1 or BB 9/1 I think).
First impression: bright, juicy, very hoppy, perfect body; light, "crushable," yet also quite satisfying.
If I recall correctly, @brianhink said it uses more hops than their DIPA (Coastal)!!
"Hop bomb" and "crushable" on label, one of the few times description is spot-on.

Last can tonight: still incredibly fresh, like taproom crowler a few days old! (Major kudos to CMBC for their canning expertise over the past year, starting August 2017 with City to Shore.)
Tonight I noticed all the same qualities I've loved since June, savoring a few can here & there: plus, the great ratio of slight bitter & restrained sweetness. (Some NEIPA are borderline unfinishable these days, how sweet; whether dextrin/dextrose or riding El Dorado too hard... This is where "Not Truly the Northeast" but Colorado or wherever becomes evident.)

Speaking of CO, Denver has the best stores/shelves selection between amazing locals & ridic distro—Always Ready would be a major addition, treat even here, on shelves particularly as a "Session NEIPA." (Many regular consumers here like myself are looking for this style, to buy/drink often.) Again, the low ABV yet satisfying hops make this exactly what I'm most often looking for.
I really hope it medals at GABF for Session IPA! (maybe more likely than Haze/Juice category)
    Crazy/awesome this went year-round, I think!

Both of the new releases were excellent. I had them both on Draft. Crushing It is way to drinkable for 8%. Great example of a brut IPA. The orange is very tasty.
Temp/Perm is great and I look forward to seeing how this ages.
