Are King Sue cans around in the western suburbs?

Thanks for the update. I know I put both names in and for whatever reason only mine is on both. I’m in session 1 and from what i can tell was one of the first through and out with tickets(per FB groups and BA) not sure if there was a glitch or what. Will call Etix also.

They've come and gone (into my fridge) in east DuPage County.

Open Bottle posted single cans for $5.99 today. That's in the south burbs though and I'm guessing it's gone by now.

Probably 12 cans at Open Bottle as of last evening.

Anyone notice the "best by 10/20/18" stamp on the King Sue cans. Canned on date is only on the box at 6/22/18. Looks like they're giving it a 4 month shelf life.

On the beer, pretty great. Seemed a touch more bitter than the last times I've had it.

Finally had some King. Great batch. Better than the last wave of bombers IMO.

Question for anyone who went to MD release last year....did they have any other stouts or rarer beers on tap?

I dont recall them having anything else on tap at MD last year but it was at their old location. At Assassin this year, at the new location, they had other stuff on tap (flagships mostly) but the spotlight was Super Sumo/Dragon Fandango, which is dam good I might add, but outside of that no other stouts or rare offerings.

For anyone really interesting in King Sue, there were at least 2 4-packs at the Lakeview Whole Foods yesterday around 5 pm.

I know for certain they had coffee Assasin at the MD. It didn’t last very long though. They might also of had BA Chain Smoker but I am not 100% sure on that one.

At the public open last year they had Coffee Assassin, Mornin Delight, Naughty Temple, and BA Chainsmoker on tap. Each was $20/pour if memory serves me right. Coffee Assassin was obviously the first to blow but the others were still available by the time we went in after the line had died down a few hours after the open. They also had Supa Sumo, Dragon Fandango, and SueMosa along with regular stuff and lots of bottles to go.

Way more exciting than any flavor of the week release at More.
