Who's going? Looks like a bunch of non Vermont breweries are also going like Trillium, Night shift, Dieu Du Ciel, Singlecut, Brasserie Dunham. No Hill farmstead again :slight_frown:

I'll be there, it's hard to beat with that location.
We'll hit Hill Farmstead the next day, on our way to NH for a little relaxation and beer drinking.

I went last year and thought it was merely decent. Dealing with drink tickets is a pain. It was quite hot and there is little shade. I had more fun and better beer later in the day at The Archives, Farmhouse and Foam. The plus side was some quality Canadian brewers I can't get in Boston.

I think its my favorite fest. Its in such a nice area on the waterfront (with the breeze) and they have everything well set up. Burlington is also amazing city with awesome food and beer (hill farmstead at lot of places). Foam brewers right across the fest. Drink tickets are a pain though and line for Lawson's is always crazy. Should be better with more out of state breweries like trillium, Night Shift. I always look forward to this fest.

Sat. is sold out, but Fri. has tix left. Hill will never be there again, likely. But so many others, always. Also, some great special events all week long leading up to, and including the weekend.

Anyone know of any beer events that weekend outside of the festival in the area? Been looking but haven't seen any.

Im having a hard time finding info on events surrounding the festival. All ive been able to find is the HF event at Juniper on Thursday and the BBQ at fiddlehead. I remember years ago the VT brewers association had a calendar with all the various events. That made things way easier.

You're right - haven't seen anything posted by the VBA this year. Disappointing.☹

Why won't HF ever be there again? Attended in 2015, hated the ticket system.

    Bigger fish to fry...
Everyone despises the token system, but is enforced state law by Dept. Of Liquor Control.

How much of a shitshow will foam be on Saturday due to the fest ? Sad that this is my first time being able to check it out and I’ll probably not be able to get cans

Mule and Farmhouse usually have incredible taplists all weekend. Im still interested in events thursday through Saturday evening if anyone sees anything.

Bummed that Foam moved Funk on the Water. It was great to hit that Thursday night last year.

Todd said too many folks in town trying to get in at once (and not able to) made him sad, so decided to turn it into a ticketed event on a later weekend. Tix on sale tomorrow, btw.

The location and city are great, outside that it is like all the other fests. Long lines at the top places, and I would expect the out of state stuff to be even worse as who up there would not like to get some Trillium? Drink tickets are no fun, and most places worry about the liquor police so actually collect them. I hope all who go have fun but once was enough for me.
