@dubo09 Did Squeezit kick? Any new hazy's coming on today or tomorrow?

 

Squeezit kicked last night. Juice Beyond on Wednesday next week. Galaxyeah (DDH APA) 6% ABV next Friday.

 

Galaxyeah sounds like a new Corridor beer, not something previously brewed that I missed?

I'm eagerly awaiting and holding out for the fruit punch NEIPA....

 

Yeah, Galaxyeah but be new. Excited for both! I want someone in Chicago to create something similar to J Wakefield Haterade. Such a good beverage on a hot day.

 

I've never had Haterade but I had the Montrose from Old Irving yesterday and I was blown away. It's easily the best beer they have made and probably the best berliner I've had from the area.

 

What's it taste like?

 

A strong but great strawberry flavor that is tart and refreshing. They double dry hopped it which I thought gave it a nice balance on the back end.

 

New beer.

To answer my own question, Galaxyeah is phenomenal and this batch of Juice Beyond is as well.

I think it was at least there last night (I had it at the Low-Line Market). I personally preferred The Juice Beyond (higher abv, a little sweeter), but they're both great.

 

we went to corridor before the national show at the metro last night (as an aside, i'm waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy too old to be hitting up a lollapalooza after show that doesn't start until 11). the only beer they ran out of was the ddh pilsner. everything was flowing.

and like @SeanBond i preferred the juice beyond to galaxyeah (both were really good though).

 

Wait a DDH Pilsner is a real thing?

 

Been noticing the new norm is limit 1pp for crowler only with no more growler fills. @dubo09 is this temporary to maintain availability for summer or will it be this way for the foreseeable future? I miss the days when I can swing by and fill 2 growlers for BBQs. Been a long time fan of Corridor Haze and will continue to be. Just curious if ya can shed some details and insight on this. Very appreciated and keep up the amazing haze!
