Where are you buying beer?

I see SoJ typically sold for 12.99. I was buying Haz’D Juice for 14.99.

Also, for me, 6 cans vs 4 cans is something I value quite a bit. Smaller serving size always wins out in my opinion. My only exception to that rule is beers less than 5%

 

I was a little confused by the prices on this too

 

this batch of overhaze is fantastic, best beer i had all weekend. just wish i wasnt buying in at $14 a 12oz 4-pack.

 

had it at the brewery and I'd agree, it's really damn good. looking forward to trying the fjoggy fjords as well

 

I found Fjoggy Fjord fjugging average. It had a weird taste and didn't find it up to par. There was a flavor that shouldn't be there. Prefer the HB Telehopic I tried.

 

Looks Like energy City just made a milkshake ipa

 

A few places in the burbs have it already. Prestige in Westmont got around 10 cases. Iron and Glass is doing a "release"

 

wife just picked me up a 4-pack, ill report back tonight.

they released a different variant of this last month in bombers at the brewery called milkshake haida, it was with peaches.

 

I know Marz is somewhat on a rotational schedule but it has been a while since the first CITRA!CITRA!CITRA! canned release. I really miss that one. Kicked the snot out of King Sue if you ask me.

 

Is there no Maplewood thread? Seems like with the addition of Roger and the awesome taproom, there would be more conversation. Not sure where else I would post this but their new fruited berliner Dem Guava Boys is amazing. Also really enjoyed the Middlebrow collab and the latest Juice Pants.

didnt get to pop a milkshake nawi yet.

what did other people end up paying for their 4-packs? direct from the brewery saturday will be $20 including tax. we paid $23 but the bottleshop is known to inflate prices....which is fucking nuts.

Lol. I actually wanted to ask pricing earlier figuring it would be $25 since regular Hop Nawi is already knocking on the door to $20. The most impressive thing I can say about the milkshake version is it was only a $1 more than the regular at Capones- (all #s pretax) $19.99 vs $18.99 for regular. Initial impression is that they ruined the regular Hop Nawi by adding the milkshake ingredients (perhaps my serving temperature didn't chill enough and it will be better tonight).

 

I said the same thing about Blazed Orange though my batting average with the milkshake IPA’s would get one sent back to Triple A

 

I loved Blazed Orange Milkshake, cant really stand Super Gnarly Milkshake, will pop a Nawi Milkshake tonight for NationalIPADay, and science...

We've got a couple new beers dropping from Illuminated, including our first canned IPA (Junior Astronaut Juice which is a smaller version our Astronaut Juice). We also bottled up fresh Astronaut Eye Scream and Fuzz Magick DIPAs this week, should be getting out today through Friday.

 

According to Maplewoods Instagram looks like Rogers first beer from them, big pulpy, is getting released next week.
