Drinking a barrel aged stout or barleywine at a baseball game honestly sounds awful.

I thought I remembered reading when the Rev bar was announced that it was going to always have Deth’s Tar available. Or maybe most of the time, but it sounds like that isn’t the case?

If it's 100 degrees out, yes.

Anything lower than that and I'm barreling.

    Hilarious!

I'm not even a fan of either team, but being a Cards fan I'm familiar with Seunghwan Oh and Randal Grichuk. It's always cool to visit a new ballpark and of course... beer.

Interesting... you mean high ABV and bored fans wouldn't be a good thing? Ha! Sounds like the makings of a good time!

I'll see if it's there. It sounds like a good beer.

    My tips/thoughts:
That weekend is vs Toronto at the g-spot. So don’t bother buying anything other than cheap tickets. I’d bet they won’t be enforcing access. If they are it’s a cheap upgrade in the MLB Ballpark app vs buying an expensive ticket.
If you want to fork over extra money:
Stub hub for either Stadium Club passes, FFF Alpha King on tap. Or 300 level seats which has an indoor area with a/c & a bar with Off Color & Pipeworks.
Revolution Sox Social lounge will get you a free cheap-o Sox hat for checking into the game on the Ballpark app and it’s air conditioned too. (Yes I’m a girl that likes a/c)
Craft Kave has a view of the opposing team bullpen & TVs to watch the game. You can wander the coolers to decide what beer you want. No time limit, totally cool. Once you get a first beer & an idea of what you’d want the food isn’t too bad & you can order anything from the beer coolers from your server.
Marz brewery is close to the park. Maria’s is a great beer bar & relatively close to the park too.

Excellent info, thanks. The Stub Hub upgrade is a good deal. I used to do that at Rangers' games all the time in TX. You're the first to answer if anything was viewable from the Kraft Kave or just TVs. I wondered if it was an interior space with no outside view. I like watching Seunghwan Oh pitch so maybe he'll be in the bullpen warming up at some point.

We're going to hit up Marz prior to the game for lunch. I'm with you on the a/c preference and nobody likes their beer getting warm! Thanks again!

Go to a game at Wrigley. Significantly better baseball experience. GRF will be empty. No reason to buy SRO. You can get lower deck seats stupid cheap. They probably wont even be selling SRO because there is no reason for them to. There are no good craft options at Wrigley but will be much more fun. Plenty of places to drink all the craft you want after.

Sheffields, Irish Oak, and Merkles all usually have excellent options available in the Wrigley area.. Sometimes you get lucky and stumble on 8 taps of BCS at Merkles.
