Should be fine “anytime throughout the day:” no need to arrive early unless time sensitive

    Thanks for the additional details.

Final question, any recommendations for lunch or dinner in the area?

Holy Dog is right down the road from the brewery. He does killer hot dogs and sausages. The place is small and is always packed on Saturdays, so it's not a sit and linger kind of place. I recommend the girlfriend treatment if you go.

There's a restaurant Tapped that shares the same building with Equilibrium, but keep in mind they're not affiliated and may or may not have EQ beers on tap. The food isn't bad, but you can certainly do better and IMO Isn't worth the price.

Clemson Bros is a few blocks away from EQ and they also do their own food. I've been meaning to check them out next time I'm up in Middletown, so maybe someone else can chime in about them.

So is it safe to say that I like the improvements they've made with their can art or am I gonna trigger some PTSD flashbacks?

I have always found Photon to be this brewery's best beer and both Mmm...osa Photon Citrus are no exceptions as Photon variants. dHop12 is awful. It's a clone of the last 10 month's batches of Heady Topper and this is not a compliment.

I almost always go the week after a release on the following Thursday because you're in and out in 30 seconds, this week I picked up a case of Photon Citrus because I knew I would love it. This didn't stop me from stopping by on Thursday for last week's release. I'm not buying any more dHop under any circumstances, brisket or no brisket.

Good to know. I haven’t had any EQ but the only beer I’ve ever wanted to try from them is photon. I guess I’ll have to track some down soon.

Ended up arriving around 1pm and grabbed a half case of each can in about 5 minutes.

We had a bunch of free time so ended up going somewhere random for lunch and relaxing in the area before heading the The Helm for dinner later in the day.

About 40 minutes (20 miles) from Equilibrium but closer to home for me, highly recommend it if you are in the area and get the smoked garlic parmesan wings

Glad you had an easy time picking up cans.

The Helm is so good. My wife and I love it there. Eddie's Roadhouse is also a really good spot for food and beers, but if you're from the area I'm sure you already knew that.

Funny how individual tastes vary. I find Photon and Mmm...osa to be their weakest offerings, by far, and have loved every one of the dhop series. Actually, except for Fractal Ekuanot, Photon and Mmm...osa are my only disappointments of theirs.

If we're gonna talk EQ disappointment can I just go on record and say Dream Wave Fluctuation was just dry-hopped skim milk? One can was more than adequate.

    Question re: releases...
Since there’s no taproom, does the bottle share table continue after can sales start?

Go there on Thursday as close to 4 PM as you can. You'll easily be able to pick up a case of the new Photon variant.

Please be aware that this beer is not hoppy. If you are looking for a hop bomb you will be disappointed.

It's a totally crushable juice bomb. I recommend highly.

Quite the opposite. I do not like hop juice I like good drinkable beer. Thanks for looking out though. Cheers.

I've only had two in the dhop series, but neither one was to my taste.

Looking for information / help about possibly visiting equilibrium.

I'm not from that state...so forgive if I've missed if these questions have been answered

There's no taproom? One can't casually come up and have a few draft pours?

    Thanks in advance
