Got the shakes Thurs at opening and stayed for lunch. Left around 1 and they still had 6 cases or so. Good shake, Needs a few weeks to smooth out.

Can you fill me in on the significance of CSA and what it means for Tired Hands? I understand that it stands for community-supported agriculture, but what is the relationship with Tired Hands?

So it's in partnership with farms that they work with for both their restaurants and beer.

Gotta think this will be an incredibly laid back release, with case limits most likely. Even though Eviscerated is a great beer.

Eviscerated is great. I'd definitely swing by if I wasn't an hour out for it.

Quite a line today at open, so I doubt Eviscerated will make it to Friday. Church maybe. D2H3 will be moved to the store tomorrow I would assume, with the large quantity they still have.

I might actually splurge on that magnum of EmptinessFarm, been wanting some emptiness in my life.

Do you have any thoughts/ideas on why there is still a "large quantity" of this beer left?

    Cheers!

Because it is D2H3:Nelson - not really something people are lining up for. It's just a single hop version of hop hands

And they've done a bunch of iterations of D2H3 beers. This one does sound good though, love me some Nelson S hops.

Did the other D2H3 beers not sell out (e.g., D2H3-Citra, D2H3-Galaxy,..) upon release? In other words is this a general D2H3 thing or is it that folks are not specifically fond of Nelson Sauvin?

    Cheers!

Keith, did those other iterations/releases sell out quickly or was it the case that after the release they still has a large quantity of 'leftovers'?

    Cheers!

I don’t think they sold out same day as release, but this is the first D2H3 that has been sold at a regular can release and not just sold directly at the general store.

Maybe because they're not that good? I got burned on the D2H3 Citra, won't buy these again. Would sooner drink regular Hop Hands for $4 less a 4/pack. My buddy and I joke that whenever they release a D2H3, it's just an off batch of Hop Hands that they throw more hops at to try to make it drinkable.

I have read other posts where folks have discussed their dislike of the pricing for the D2H3 products (i.e., $18 a 4-pack). If the D2H3 beers were more economically priced would you be more motivated the purchase these beers?

    Cheers!

Is it single hop brewed (instead of the blend of Amarillo, Simcoe, and Centennial), or just single hop used in the extra dry-hopping? The latter was my impression from previous descriptions.

I had the Galaxy version on draft one time, and I actually thought it had a more mild aroma than regular Hop Hands.

I actually like the Motueka variant but yeah I think just the fact that people are understanding that it's just a little different hophands means that they aren't rushing for them. The Trillium series though I have enjoyed a lot more.

It is my understanding that it is just another hop introduced to the recipe, not a single hop beer.
