@John_M informed me over in the Fremont thread that this weekend was Bailey's 11th anniversary. This tap list seems deserving of its own PSA. The event runs from 12-11 Saturday and Bailey's will have the side road that connects Bailey's and the Upper Lip closed to traffic. No cover charges or required glass purchases, just a great tap list. From Facebook:
Have gone the past couple of years and have always had a good time. This is always an excellent event IMHO (great tap and bottle selection). The only thing I would mention, is that it can get a bit crowded at times (depending when you head over), so probably better to go earlier rather than later (especially given the projected temps on Saturday).
Sitting in the Upper Lip right now, and it's a bit more thn half full. Downstairs is a bit more crowded, but you can still move around OK. So far, the rusty nail is by far the best beer I've sampled.
Rusty is a pretty high bar from the get-go. Especially this year. My visit keeps getting pushed further back in the afternoon, for such is the nature of weekend chores. Ah well.
A lot of the beers from this weekend are still on tap, including Cantillon Kriek, de Garde Kriek, Wunderkammer Volume 7, and Firestone Walker Coconut Rye Parabola.
