Pizza Boy Brewing

Haven't tried. Going to get both as well. Can't beat $30 for 2 6ers of 16 oz cans of quality IPAs (I am assuming quality lol).

 

Just got a 6er of both. When I picked up Just the Tidbits, the sign in front of me said $16/ 6 pack. Don't be fooled, it is indeed listed as $18 in a different area. Went in thinking it was going to be $18, so I was ok with that.

FYI - You've Got A Friend In is $40/case. For a 7.5% Pizza Boy IPA in 16 oz cans, I'd say this might be one of the best deals I have seen yet.

I've noticed that for You've Got A Friend In, Pizza Boy lists it on draft with Cascade and Simcoe hops and Untappd has it with Citra and Simcoe hops. Can anyone clarify?

 

Had the YGAFI IPA yesterday. It reminded me more of a hoppy pilsner. Doesn't seem like an IPA to me, but it is really good regardless.

 

If it is indeed a hoppy pilsner, I'm all in. Been waiting for something along the lines of that all summer

 

Looks like there will be some new cans next week.

 

Anyone know exactly which cans are being released this week?

 

Meyers Lemon IPA and Adjust The Tracking

Probably today. They usually put them out early to mid afternoon (whenever they're done, but that's usually when. The Meyer was a legitimate disappointment on tap. Adjust was good but probably needed a little time to round out/drop out. Depending on pricing/format, I might pick up some cans of Adjust The Tracking today.

 

Was MM anything like LemonDAIRY?

 

Anything like? Sure, but it wasn't super reminiscent other than the lemon character which was strong in both. MM was obviously not as sweet as LemonDairy. I was particularly let down by the lack of a differing hop aroma in MM. Seemed that the aromatics were all lemon.

 

Can't see it. What is it?

 

Driving up from Georgia now, bringing this up to enjoy.

 

Both are $16/4 pack. Will not buy.
