Armsby Abbey in Worcester is easily the best choice, is not far out of your way, and super easy to get back on 90 to 95 to 128.

Brick and Feather Brewery is 10 minutes off of 91 North in Turners Falls. Opens at 5 on Thursday. Great selection and quick in and out.

Thanks for both of these -- this is definitely a lunch stop so looking for restaurant-type places. Love B&F though!

Not a lot of good tap lists in that stretch. You could hit the Point off of 495 in Littleton for decent beer. There is a TITS and an Angela's Pizza with a couple of draft options.

If beer is not needed it opens up more for you

Oh beer is definitely not needed, there will be plenty of other options later on, so if you have a suggestions based just on food, let it fly! Thanks

Good little hole in the wall Thai place called Siam Pepper in Harvard. Excellent Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. New sushi place a little farther in Ayer called Osawa Japanese Bistro. Very good sushi. Both less than 5 minutes off of Rt. 2. If you hit the sushi I would highly recommend Union Coffee Roaster next door for a road drink after.
