For what it’s worth, Post Animal are really good. Kind of like beach house with a punk feel. Can’t say I’m familiar with the other 2 however.

The guys at HA definitely have a more Indie/guitar taste than some other breweries, and with the Empty bottle curating the music, I expect that to be the case as well.

 

Know Place returns. Highly enjoyed the first release.

Dungeons is stupidly good. Half Acre rarely disappoints and this is a fucking slam dunk. Citrus and berry and so smooth. I’m really impressed.

 

I concur with you & others above and sing the praises of Dungeons. It was outstanding imo. Perhaps my memory is just being fickle but I seemed to enjoy it more this time around then the first batch, although even then I thought it was good. Would love to see HA make it a seasonal.

Digging the latest batch of Preen as well (missed the first batch). It has a somewhat complex flavor profile for an IPA (imo). Wish I had grabbed another 4pk.

 

A lot of the HA beers don't really wow me but Dungeons did. Seriously good.

 

I had the same thought. Realy liked it the first time, but liked even more this time around.

Well, you all convinced me...grabbed a can of Dungeons at Bottles & Cans today.

I'm not a big Half Acre fan, but seeing the unanimous praise on here made me curious. I haven't had one of their beers in quite awhile, so I'm kind of excited...

 

Well...half hour in the freezer and it's ready to drink. HOW WAS IT!?!?!?

 

A little too pine & caramel forward for me. There was a white grape undercurrent that I enjoyed though...

I overheard one of the guys in the shop say it will return again in December. Seems they'll be only brewing it the one time each year.

 

So what is "Fully Saturated" Double Daisy Cutter?

 

Yes yes wonder what the third can will be.

 

Part of me was like "ooh shit, Fully-Saturated DDC?" And then I remembered that I don't actually like regular DDC all that much, so I'm not sure fully saturating it would help me out.

 

is 'fully saturated' code for NE style? should we get the rumors going?
