Traffic is the big reason I don’t make it out to More...more.

Another thing to consider is the calorie count in these pastry stouts. It's hard to determine the exact amount, but I can't imagine a pastry stout bomber has fewer than 1200 calroies in it

That would put it 400ish+ above a regular BA stout bomber, I think. That seems awevully high.

    It yes, I agree.

I saw something that has a 6oz pour of a barrel aged Bruery stout at 500 calroies. Maybe that's a bit of a high estimate on my end.

Those are 20%ers. Definitely a completely different game than 10-15%era

I think I’m in the minority, but anything more than 5oz of a pastry stout is a chore for me.

I’d much rather have the sweetness come from the grain bill - but even that has its limits.

Hmmm... perhaps I shouldn't have solo domed that Chocolate Rain that one time.

Gosuhhh Peach was solid though I was hoping for more of a fruit bomb (maybe not realistic given the style). Frooted is pretty good. It’s very tart cherry forward which is up my alley

Hour fifteen all Frooted lasted! I bought a 4 of the Pillow, that triple hop combo sounds great. Dusty is really good, like a session haze.

Yeah, completely fair. I'd be pretty surprised if they were less than 800 for a bomber though.

My first experience with a bruery stout was my friend brought over a mocha Wednesday that we split. It was our first beer of the night and I was like why am I prettybuzzed already, not knowing the abv

wow, props to them for successfully deploying the hypebot.

perhaps one day it will warrant a day off and 3 hour round trip from the city...

Personally I thought this was the best Frooted thus far. Certainly not for everyone and more smoothie than beer but the cherry and pomengranite really worked well. Sweeter than the last one but with a subtle tartness. Thought the Pillow Talk was really green. Interested to try it again in a week or two.

Interesting as I got more tartness than you did. I also don’t think it had smoothie characteristics (pour to pour variation?). Mine drank similarly to a NG Belgian Red

Seeing Nelson on the hop bill was enough to sell me.

You're right, not nearly as smoothie like as some of the others. Didn't even seem to be jamming up the lines per normal. I just thought that was what we were calling them now.
