I swung by earlier today. My first time there and my first time having their beer. Pretty sad considering I live 6 miles away, but cest la vie.

Grabbed a couple growlers to go. Cool spot. Very friendly people as well. I picked up Biggenz and Trolls Footpath. Biggens is a nice, straightforward IPA with Citra and Centennial. Both shine through nicely.

I loved the Trolls Footpath. A super easy drinking farmhouse ale with a hint of the pineapple and blood orange. Tasting note of mimosa is accurate.

Hoping to get back this weekend or next week to fill a couple more growlers.

Got a growler of that Trolls Footpath and took it to the pool today... damn that was refreshing and so easy drinking, I could've taken down the whole 64oz myself... wife loved it too.

tried the DIPA, White Gold Tarantula, very hoppy and pithy bitterness, grapefruit, and very dank... touch green, but I think next weekend it will be singing..

Ya know, I kinda felt the same way about Tarantula, though I think I may have been focusing on the Denali hops (for some reason I thought I tasted that onion/garlicy flavor). I was thinking about grabbing a growler of it (well, i really wanted Lil Shimmy) but went with some Biggenz instead

We’re you there fairly early yesterday? I was chatting with a guy who said the same thing.

I just had a pint of White Gold Tarantula at the brewery and it's superb; I think by far the best DIPA Twin Elephant has produced. It's supremely well-balance with lots of tangerine and lemon, and the blend of Azacca, Denali, Vic Secret, and Enigma hops is highly flavorable. Try this while you can!

Happy National IPA day! Well it was yesterday but come on does it really matter since we are going to crush hops all weekend . We are continuing the celebration with two more hop forward beers dropping this weekend. Today, Friday 8/3, we should have a new 6.7% ABV American IPA called "Crush It And Kill It" hitting the scene. Always time to get your grind on. Can’t go wrong with Galaxy, Mosaic, Citra, and Waimea but we paid careful attention the malt selection and hand-picked some of the smoothest malts we could find. Dosed the fermenter with a little oak chips right along with the yeast. Got all that papaya and mango, pulpy & pithy fluff folded onto pilsner, British pale, oats and chit. Do work son. Also today, after we kill a keg or two, a new tweak on a recent beer called "Nosh: Hallertau Blanc" will make an appearance. This ones’ mighty, mighty like a bosstone as we practice purpose in reppin’ hops! Roll on into Auggie Doggie in fashion sippin’ single hopped IPA! The single hop conduit for this version is Hallertau Blanc, a new age German flavor hop that works dem’ taste buds over for a while. Intoxicating aroma, some dulcet tones of honey, drinkable base of wheat and blended pale malts. Notes of tropical fruits, tart berry, strawberries, grass aromas and mist of white wine. Don't be shy and come through for a lupulin hang.

I wonder if it just needs more time. Those RIS (and even those adjuncts) take a lot of time to settle. They haven't been perfect at updating the secondary all the time. Wonder if we'll see it back in the email next week.

Yea that’s what I was thinking. They might want it in the barrel a little longer (though to me the less the barrel taste the better  )
