I’m dying to try to try the new Sierra Nevada Ofest & hear it’s out & about around Boston. But with this massive heat wave coming the next week I think I’ll stick to the dwindling summer beers available.

Has anyone seen burial brewing pop up recently? Had it some on tap at Stars in Hingham and absolutely loved their stuff in Asheville, if they got distro I'd buy it up regularly

Had a Copper Legend last night canned on 7/27 and a Hofbrau Oktoberfest bottled 6/1.

Tasted great on my porch in the humidity.

Also picked up Mystic’s new table Saison Wavebreak, Mayflower’s new Helles Autobahn, and Rothaus bottled in late April all at Ball Square.

Vinnin in Swampscott received a shipment within the last 6 weeks. I picked up a 4-pack of Hawkbill sometime over the winter and a 6-pack of Surf Wax from one of the more recent drops. Both in the NE IPA vein - Surf Wax was good, but nothing to really differentiate it from other, good NE IPAs (excluding format and price); I'd buy Hawkbill again - rye adds another layer of complexity that I really enjoyed.

Wonder if they were up here for an event recently and got limited distribution

I have seen a number of Burial cans around, with multiple drops. Either they are getting periodic distribution, or are repeatedly coming to events and bringing shipments here. Seen them recently at Belmont Craft Beer Cellar where they had a number of the Saisons, and also at the Wine & Cheese Cask in Somerville where they had Surf Wax and maybe 1 or 2 others.

Edit: just checked the Burial website, and they said they don't distribute to MA. However, it seems like cans have been showing up every few months, I guess due to events.

I'm not much of a Haxton's fan due to a lot of out of code beer they stock, but went in to get my wife a 4-pack of the Sons of Liberty lemonade and they happened to have a sale on 15-packs of Founders: All Day, Mosaic Promise and Centennial. $14.89 each. I'll gladly pay less than a buck a can for Mosaic Promise. Canned 7/02

That's a good deal on MP. My wife loves that SOL lemonade. It tastes pretty good for what it is. It is quite dangerous at 9% ABV though. My mother in law blacked out drinking it when she first had it. She mixes hers with more lemonade now. Saw a bunch of people miss thier marks drinking it at the distillery as well. It's gotta be a cash cow for them though .

Yeah I'm glad my wife likes it and makes it disappear, because I've had one or two of those lemonades and thing goes down like water. At least higher ABV beers tend to be tougher to chug down.

I think SOL realized how dangerous these are with their latter 2 cocktail versions, there is now a blueberry lemonade and raspberry iced tea both of which are 7% ABV instead.

Grabbed Jack's Abbey/ Proclamation Sommerfest @ Bert's in Hooksett. Biased probably because I only like the lighter festbier style Oktoberfests, but I'm enjoying the hell out of this.

    Say what now?

Is this available in cans? (Remember when we used to automatically ask if something is available in bottles?)

Another Modern Times drop. New can in the pack seems to be Critical Band (an IPA).

Anyone see Monsters' Park (Nicaraguan Rum/Cherry & Vanilla) drop anywhere other than Fort Point Market?

I was disappointed to see notch move to 4 packs on their latest drops .I thought their zwickel 6 packs were one of my favorite beers of the year for value. The new 4s were priced similar to the Trillium bird series

You mean the small bird series. If it's priced like Big Bird we're all in trouble.
