Ooooh... Westly is a member's only beer, so I've never had it...

Recency Effect... good lord, batch one was just a whisper in the wind.

And at the booth was doing 10oz pours instead of 5oz.

Westly was the goods. Oh man. Best in show for sure, and no one was in the line. 10 oz pours. The pourer didn't know what she had. This made the downpours worth everything. I went back for several.

Think my big winners of the day were the PB Night and Day, the creamsicle perm 58, the OH Triple Mosaic Daydream, and Perennial Abraxas

Right, the "Monkish line" was practically wrapped around to the food trucks because nobody was aware you could get any beer from any person serving, not that each brewery had it's own line. I ordered a Westly and a Recency, got back in the "SARA line" and got Monkish while people were still waiting in line for Monkish.

But my tops were definitely Westly, Tiramisu w/coconut, Juice Gymnastics, and Triple Mosaic Daydream. Though I can't say anything I had was less than great. Good times...

    This was a great festival.

Westly, Recency Effect, and Cellarmen were all amazing. Monkish was good, but don’t think I will be hunting down there beer any time soon. Too many good local options. The biggest surprise for me was Fayston maple with cherries. Didn’t think I would enjoy it, but I did. There was also 0 line all day for Pirate Paradise.

Permutations #52 & 57 have been major highlights of my Boston trip.

    Best bar at Logan airport??

Depending on the terminal, I'd say Boston Beer Works or Cisco Brew Pub.

If you’re in the jet blue terminal, legal seafood has a pretty good taplist

I was kinda expecting to see Headroom make an appearance at the festival as it's that time of year. I didn't go, but I don't see it on their list.

    My terminal!

    Blackberry Soak = also legit.

I never realized that the best Trillium beers are not IPAs!!!

Headroom did not make an appearance yesterday.

Overall, I thought it was a really good event. The one big letdown was that a number of beers didn't make it to session 2, namely the Omnipollo 3 Sons Pancake, Monkish Strawberry Space Cookie, and J Wakefield BA Kitty Kitty. Highlights for me were the Monkish Water Balloon Fight Club, SARA Westley, and Cellarmaker Juice Gymnastics. The Trillium Guava DDH Sleeper was straight juice. Biggest disappointment for me was the Fayston Maple Imp Stout w/Cherry - really thin and lacking any hint of cherry.

Cellarmaker event at Trillium Canton is pretty mellow. Maybe a couple dozen people here.

Kind of a shame they got spotlighted on a Monday after a festival when drinkers were burnt out. Cellarmaker does some really good stuff and deserved a bigger crowd. DDH Dobis is a revelation at 5%. Talked to Tim and Kelly for a bit and they're awfully nice people as well.

Hopefully they brewed something in Canton.

Trillium hosted a Bissell tap takeover like a month ago that was very very crowded
