You don't need to actually eat brownie batter to know the experience and correlate it with a beer...and regular FO for me always brings me right back to that profile, aroma especially.

Fundamental Observation weekend details just posted on the FB page, FO and 4 variants:

Join us this weekend for the fourth annual release of our legendary Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Vanilla Stout, #FundamentalObservation! We're open from 12:00pm - 10:00pm each day!

We'll be pouring #FOB4 and four draft-only variants each day, in addition to twelve more new and returning-favorite fresh beers!

Two identical #FOB4 pour stations will serve:
    •Fundamental Observation 2018
    •Fundamental Observation Mostra Coffee 2018 [aka #FOMO]
#FOCOCO - Fundamental Observation 2018 finished with mountains of coconut flakes!
•[Yet to be named FO Variant]
•[Yet to be named FO Variant]

All sorts of sweet new #FundamentalObservation2018 merchandise will be available -- hats, shirts, #properglassware, and even a few beach towels!

    FOOD TRUCKS:
Saturday 8/11: Hobo Co. Pizza + FiestaGourmett
Sunday 8/12: Tres Compas Mexican Grill + Rolling Sushi Van

Bottles purchased in the online Eventbrite sale will be available for pick-up in the front of building #1070 -- where we registered Field Journals at #WeekOfLogic 2018! There are no restrictions on minors in this non-event area.

The event grounds cover a similar footprint to Week of Logic, and unfortunately, minors are not permitted in the event area. Our friends at Brewery X are generously sharing their outdoor parking area for overflow -- it's just a block away from Bottle Logic Brewing!

Any official word on whether Fundamental Beer Geek is going to be hitting bottles, or is it festival only? @bottlelogiclindsay

Fundamental Beer Geek still has some time ahead of it; it won't be appearing this weekend.

No worries, I'm just happy it's still on the books! Just had this thought that since it's been more than a year since brew day and it made festival appearances a few months back (with no news otherwise about it) that it might've been a super small batch and wouldn't be hitting bottles. Glad to hear otherwise and that you guys are making it the best beer it can be!

What about the Great Notion collab, Paisley Cave? That beer was INCREDIBLE and must be bottles!

I'd imagine that still has at a good amount of time until it drops since it wasn't even brewed until the end of December last year. WoL preview was a little more than 2 months in barrels, right now it's probably a little more than 7 months in barrels. The standard for their stouts seems to be around 11-12 months.

As far as what might be coming next, based on the timing, Leche Borracho b2 should be around the corner. I remember seeing it on the brewing board in the tasting room last year around August or September.

I will reiterate my previous piggyback post - I, too, am hopeful there will be FO variants on tap later in the pick up cycle, or even “just” FO. Considering it a pipe dream at this point since I’m visiting at the very back end of the allotted pickup window.

Considering how long NC and FO stayed on last year (FOMO went early) you shouldn't have too much of an issue getting AT LEAST pours of FO throughout the pickup window. They were still serving it on the last day of bottle pickups last year.

Check on FB and Instagram for craft bars, restaurants that carry craft beers for FO tap takeovers around the time you are going.

When do we find out the other two party FOs? Hoping for an FO+RFI blend, that (self blended) was extremely tasty during WoL.

    FO+RFI blend?
RFI is FO with cinnamon (and more vanilla), so it technically is already a blend. Am I wrong about this?

i thought RFI tasted good, but doing a 50/50 with RFI kinda tampered down a bit on the cinnamon. People seemed to like it a lot.

Pretty much this. When I first tried RFI I thought it was great but an earthy cinnamon bomb that the vanilla couldn't compete with. Blending in some FO reserve brought the balance back to where I wanted it. Still really like RFI but I'll be experimenting with a portion of my bottles as I open them.

They haven’t released the info just yet. (Fingers drumming patiently)

Hopefully today or tomorrow, but you never know, they might just make us wait until we walk in to see what the variants actually are...
