They brewed a stout with Horus at the beginning of July.

I had a small pour of the Horus stout, Black Walnut Bertha, at the As Is event a few weeks back and thought it was amazing. Very excited for this one.

As well as an eventual Angry Chair collab though I forget what Andrew said that one was.

It also sounds like every stout they've done recently has gone into some kind of bourbon barrel.

i still dont fully understand why other half has decided july/august is time to rapid-fire release huge stouts, but im also not complaining at all because these have all been great.

And it's even more ridiculous that so many Florida brewers release such big, delicious stouts!

I think OH is just working to keep things somewhat diverse. People love those pastry stouts and I think they're figuring out how to capitalize on that. It seems like they've got great IPAs available to go almost every day now; let's get some other styles in the mix!

I agree 100%. I’m not afraid to say I was getting sick of IPA after IPA.

weekends are rough with traffic and availability of cans, especially at OH. Still worth a try though.

Yes, for as much as I love me some OH IPAs, variety is great, especially in this swamp-ass weather. Give me a nice sour or Berliner to drink in this hot weather.

I'm all for it! Seems like they're making an effort to keep a lower ABV beer around (ie: the pils, kolsch, etc) and also have a steady stream of fruited sours available on a fairly regular basis.

And yes I think the barrel statement is true as well. Those releases wont be as large though as the recent non-BA ones have been I'm sure.

If you told me the day after the Potatoes release that, a year later, a five-way collab imperial stout was still available nearly a week after release I would have laughed at you.

DDH DMDD is sold out, went faster than I would’ve expected given a midweek drop.
